Glanced to the top of the page and realised I'm probably the last person here to offer all Jewish NPs a happy Chanukah.:D

2nd night of 8, so plenty of time.

The magic is getting diluted as the "kids" get older.

DS2 has one more week of uni before the end of term. Both have requested clothes or money to buy clothes for presents this year, this does make life easier, but it does take away from the present giving.

Traditional chanukah food is anything made with oil (as the chanukah story is all about oil lasting for 8 days), so doughnuts are popular. Very popular in this house.

Hahaha, he is tucked in t me now. He played 'fetch' today, which he liked( deference to Lydia j) and helped with the horses. When we ere moving paddocks he wriggled under the fence and went off with dh. :D. He is wonderfully wary of the horses ( perfect) and terrified of the geese...also good IMO. But he likes helping and being busy. He is more a doer than a snuggled most of the time.

He is utterly, utterly edible. I would get nothing done with a furry friend like that!

    Architect, yes.

We are getting another delivery this week. We only have enough left for about another three days at this rate. (I can buy some horse bedding locally to tide us over if need be and the thing starts working but there is VaT on that).

If you are posh you know that there is no correlation between posh and what something costs.

So, the knowledge of that means one is posh? It's so easy to be posh! :j:j:j

Nope, I don't think any one has mentioned it :D

We are watching dh's favourite film (Elf). For the umpteenth time. Still, at least we get it over and done with early this season. :D. Dh still laughs at all the funny bits. He has made a huge bowl of cinnamon popcorn and hot chocolate and is as happy as a kid. I don't quote get it, but I do love him so much.

I have no idea what the film is, but you two are incredibly sweet. I am so happy for you. :)

Mind you, you should see DW and me, going for walks together hand in hand, just like the children on the Start-Rite adverts.

Gdb, I think you should watch Elf. It is funny ( the first time) if schmaltzy, and it will add a sprinkle of here to a dark day. Find out when it's on again.

Dh wants an outfit like the lead actors, which in itself might ake you grin.

I am counting to the shortest day and when we get there I am going to be happy for you we are starting to have light again.:)

I think you and dw sound sweet too.

Oooh, very glad you like it!

Dh is mixing us a Ceaser ritz each to drink, so we can read about yachting, shooting and other nice people posh alerts in style.

Buts it's not the same without Pastures.
