Michaels' shoe problem (accepting that the shoes are too small for michaels).
I would do a deal with your daughter, flat sensible shoes for school, but she can have a pair of 1 inch heels to prance around in at the weekend.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. our central heating pressure is 0.8 bar (ish). We had a small small leak that kept dropping it and we just re-pressurised it without checking why :O so there is a reason why it's dropped. If you bleed radiators you will need to top it up again.
I only learnt this from MSE and when we had a whole new system installed.0 -
How long will this journey take? My wife is taking a group of people by coach from near Archway station in North London (N19 3RQ) to Sloane Square. They need to arrive at 5PM on Thursday this week, ie at a busy time of day during the run up to Xmas.
The RAC route planner comes up with a route going through the centre of London, eg Regent Street, Piccadilly and Knightsbridge. It says the journey is 7 miles, which it reckons can be done in 28 minutes. I thought that it might take much, much longer than that, given the likely traffic, but I have no real idea.
Does anybody have any help? DW needs to book the coach to leave at the right time to arrive at 5PM, so it's rather important to get this right. Help!
If the starting point is near a tube station, it probably makes sense to go on the tube. If that is not an option, I would allow2.5 hours, including half an hour for them to faff around getting comfortable on the coach and late arrivals. Better to be early and have time around Sloane Square than be anxious.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. From wiki:
Mobile phones
Mobile phone numbers begin with 04, followed by eight digits. e.g. 04yy yxx xxx. The y-digit codes are allocated per network, although with the introduction of number portability, there is no longer a fixed relationship between the mobile phone number and the network it uses. New numbers are still allocated to phone companies in blocks, so a new number will generally still be on its "home" network.
Mobile numbers must always be dialed with all 10 digits, no matter where they are being called from. 04 is a prefix, not an "area code", as such.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Ok, you asked for it...here are pics.
I think my flexipipe is to the right and top of my boiler. So ....
This is my boiler. The big red thing to the left is the hopper for wood pellet. The expansion thingymajimbob is on the right, and the pressure gauge for this section is there.
Close of pressure guage.
The cylinder is in another room (for those that remeber my house or floor plan, in the utilty the other side of the cheeseroom/kitchen)
There is pipe work for heating and stuff there too (and expansion vessel three, not pictured). The number two expansion thing is blue and in the attic above the cylinder.
Btw, I don't expect to fix this, but I don't want to do anything today either now.0 -

I think that's a fair and reasoned compromise. One can always rely on silvercar! Most girls wear 'fancy dress shoes' and they might have higher heels with less support. Similarly Lydia's dd's summer shoes..probably get slipped on and off.
My feet....years of ballet and high heels....they are awful. But the only bonus is that I never got contracted tendons or calves...horse riding and yoga!0 -
Can confirm that any of mine with the international code have 10 following numbers.0

Can you get the correct number from her mother or other family member? Ime older family members would rather be woken in the middle of the night on the otherside of the world if it means the next generation are going to meet up.0
