Hair really needs to be done again for tomorrow.... I'd washed it yesterday ready for today, then this morning I just had to straighten it a bit .... so can it run for 2 days.... it felt a bit iffy this morning. Trouble is, my hairdrier's in storage and I CBA to wash my hair now and don't want to go to bed with it wet.
I guess I should have washed it immediately I got the phone call - never think about my hair though!0 -
Good luck with second interview Pastures! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Last night I went to a free concert featuring Boyz II Men. BIIM were very good but it was extremely bizarre. First this woman stood next to me who sung along to every song at the top of her voice convinced she was a diva - you know the sort, the ones who are the outtakes on the X Factor and stuff. Then they started giving roses to the audience and this absolutely huge woman (in every possible direction) started climbing over the crowd to trample her way to the front. Hilarious. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I did not know Savile but I did talk to him a couple of times in the 80's because he was close friends with the grandfather of a friend of my DD. I also saw him around on several occasions both at the LGI and in local small restaurants where he went (dressed normally) with male friends of his own age who had no connection with show biz. I do know that he did a lot more for local charities, schools and Old Folks homes than ever got reported.
He struck me as rather shy, with women in particular, unless he was in full "Jimmy Savile the Star" mode. Guilty? No idea. But if he was I think it would have been more taking advantage of what he thought was on offer than deliberate misuse of his celebrity.Murphy was an optimist!!!0 -

I have a haircut to arrange in the next 7 days... Bridesmaid duties, followed by starting job (still yet to receive letter withdrawing offer, so better start acting like its happening!). Felt it was worth splashing out slightly as last supercheap haircut took way too much.off, but struggling to find anything reasonable. I hate trying to find a hairdresser.0 -

Do you know any of the people silvercar? Or are you too wise to say?!
I don't know any of them personally. I know that one of them teaches at a school local to here. I seem to have FB friends who are rooting for one or two of them, these FB friends are friends of friends, so I guess some of the candidates are friends of friends of friends. Some friends of friends are claiming on FB that they turned down the chance to be in it, much to their childrens' annoyance. One or two faces in the barmitzvah party scenes I recognised. The hotel was The Village Hotel, Elstree. I could work out most of the street scenes.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
