Where I live it is horses...with cyclists a very narrow second.
We have lots of those too. One woman in particular who rides at the same time of day on the same shadey route in navy on a dark bay horse..
We recommend these:

They are effective for both traffic seeing one and for them passing you sensibly.0 -
It was like a toyshop /novelty shop crossed with Willy Wonka's factory.:D If they still have stores I hoope they're as good as the old ones. It started as a mail order company.
It was based vaguely around SingleSue's end of the country IIRC.
That's an interesting link,, PN. I stand corrected . It still has about 20 stores but none in any major cities. well Cardiff, Edinburgh and Bristol are the only large(ish) ones with a store
Beccles...which is not far as the crow flies. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I was watching it while working. I found the couple offputting. Not sure why. The building should have been amazing like a little hidden nook but it wasn't.
My viewing last night was Masterchef followed by Grand Designs :rotfl:0 -

NP Poll:
Have you ever dreamt about a NP?
Yes.
Mainly the ones I have met though.
Btw any more photos of westie dog? While he is still my favourite white terrier?. In a few months he'll just be the coolest westie I have ever seen, and my favourite westy in the world.
I will miss the kiwi fruit with teeth when he is not brown any more.0 -
Radio three are playing the original version rhapsody in blue. It's so good to be sitting here listening to it in full (because I am shattered) it was a seminal piece of music and I ract to it in much the same way as I do the summer suite of the four seasons and my most beloved hard house. I love a piece of music that forces a tempo change in your heart and physical reactions.
Sigh, that was good.0 -

It used a funny booth in a record shop which recorded music for you back in the 80s and labeleld and boxed the cassette for you.
It was a very eclectic mixtape and I couldn't think of a good name. When the guy asked what to call it I said "Now That's What I Call Unrelated Music" which meant nothing over there. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Had a an eerie (though pleasant) feeling reading last night's posts.
It’s a funny small world.
Nikkster works/ worked on membranes .
A neighbour/friend once designed a model of membrane structure (a loooong time ago)
His cousin was Alastair Cooke whose broadcasts Spirit enjoys.
Not quite six degrees of Kevin Bacon but makes me feel everything’s more closely connected than we think:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

There's something also about the clean lines and minimalist styling that implies quality. I'm such a sucker.
Like what?
There's one in merry hell, but I've never been in there. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
