Isn't there a law in this country making it illegal to drive a bicycle without lights nor reflectors?
Yesterday evening, on my way back to work....unlit country lane, pitch dark...I think I missed him by less than 2 feet
That was my rant for the day
Yes. You need lights after 'lighting up time' on a bicycle.
TBH, any cyclist that disobeys that rule deserves what they get. I ride around Sydney doing an impression of the Blackpool illuminations only without the understatement.0 -
Curly dog has so far learnt the meaning of (not necessarily the adherence too)
His name
Widdle-ee wee wee
In the house.
He is doing well at ' in yer bed' too.
Desist is going to be a tough one.
He is a very busy little puppy and is easily bored of his puppy toys, so we are going to need some more exciting ones soon. Time to research tasty chewable things. Flavoured nylabones are not hitting the spot at all!0 -

Where live know we have whole flocks of cyclists, and lone ones. It's the most cycle ish place I have lived. I am always a gasping last reaction from one away at dark fall, I honestly don't think most people realise how hard they are to see unless they look like the Blackpool illuminations.0 -

I "see" loads of cyclists without lights, btw. I think cyclng in the London area looks dangerous enough at the best of times.
Anyway when I went to sleep Romney was ahead; glad to see the change in fortunes by the time I woke up.:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Are you referring to the Law of Natural Selection? I'm not sure that you did the human genome a favour by missing him.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
When we go to Norwich, we can book seats (for free) on the Ipswich to Norwich part (and of course, the Norwich to Ipswich bit) but not on the train from here to Ipswich...not that you need to book one for that bit, that train rarely gets overcrowded.
Shhhhhh! :shhh:
That would be a hint to close the line down if any efficiency experts/ sado-monetarists etc were reading the threads.:eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

What a smart boy.
I don't remember exactly how old westie was before he nicely weeweed outside, but definitely not as young as curly dog.
what's his name, by the way?
And please, keep posting piccys, they are always fun to see.0 -

I rarely say the real names of my pets online. But his has been discussed here before he was born, so I will break my habit, but he will always be referred to as curly dog.
He is called Wonderful Hallelujah which we abbreviate to a cute short name that suits him.
We have had a couple of huge accidents now, but nothing major and all user error not puppy failure. I can take no credit for it, I did notice they were all already using the paper at the breeders, really, really early. I was awed at little squirming fluff bags staggaring over to news paper off their vet bed.
He doesn't like the mud much ATM either (that is bound to change, like westie, he should like 'la terre'. But for now he prefers to walk along the planks that lay across the mud where grass used to be.
He is actually quite hard to snap. Most pictures look like this
Or just teeth and fuzz.0 -

I'd spend NOTHING on footballer grant McCann. I think he'd offer nothing to my football team...
I have edited my earlier post following zag's pm.;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
