I go through phases of sleeping with the curtains open (generally in spring/ autumn). When I moved back to my parents' I did it a few times and was questioned as to why so stopped. I do usually get the urge to hibernate in winter so I'm hoping that my magical clock will overcome that :cool:

Fireworks were ok, probably spoilt by the fact that the last one's I've seen have been fairly major ones (London New Year's Eve, Boston 4th July etc). Enjoyed going out though. Just the kind of silly thing I like doing.

10k people - those are some serious fireworks though?!

First couple of days in new job seem to have gone ok. No one has punched me in the face or spat on me yet anyway, so I call that an epic win.

OH is scared of fireworks. She reminds me of a skittish puppy when they start going off! She won't go outside on her own when they are going off.

We're going to an independence-themed party tomorrow night in Yalta tomorrow night before we head back to England, and all I'll say is that there will be a lot of fireworks

I think my niece had enough about 10pm! (it's 3.27am now)
