Nice people thread part 7 - a thread in its prime

Well done zag
There's not many that can say they have been thanked in more posts than they have posted
I can't find it now, but a few days ago I saw a poster who'd been thanked nearly three million times! It averaged something like 40 thanks per post. I think they're probably a regular on the Comping board, that's where most of the 'thanking' goes on!
Edit - There must be quite a few, this ones got over 4m thanks!

Zag was thanked xxxxx times in 3006 posts when he only has a post count of 3002
Edit: Double post with chewy
Easily done. Especially if you posted on threads that got deleted. you keep the thankscount but not the post count IYSWIM
Pop over to the Arms and you'll see plenty of posters whose thankscount are based on more posts than they've got posts still in existence.

I found spilt face tiles that can be grouted and are bathroom safe.
I feel like a goddess that I can find the impossible.
Only thing is......I saw some lovely glass tiles while I was there. :rotfl: now we have to decide what we want. I thought I was so cleaver gettiong a kitchen that needed no splashbacks so I avoided this quandry againnow I wish I had some where for the lovely tumbled sea glassy tiles.
I also found stone floor slabs we like for the kitchen, we just cannot afford them yet.
In fact, we cannot even afford a tin of beans now. Thank goodness it is the end of the month.:o0 -
There's plenty of posters here with more impressive thanks counts. Silvercar's right about certain threads; there are people who've got about 20 thanks for every post. Other threads nobody ever seems to thank anybody even though some people are incredibly helpful.
Over in the Arms if anyone posts a photo from a newspaper or a quote from a news article the whole thread gets pulled pronto.
I have a lot more posts that nobody thanks at all 'cos they think I'm talking mince.:eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Aaargh! I've fed the dog in preparation for his evening walk and poo (which I will of course dispose of hygenically).

Hoprrid isn't it?
I know the times, roughly, mine HAVE to go out, and with dog dogs must not get wet splint and dressing its just wretched trying to get her to go at other, drier times, because she has to stay on the lead. If she good go for a run it would speed the process up0 -

We didn't have the money at first to set up in a 'nice' part of London, so we chose SE25. CK Holdings HQ is now at NW10 from January, though.

So today I have
1. Ironed for the first time in,ages
2. Driven to work for the first time ever
3. Driven back from work for the first time ever
4. Oh, and had my first day at my first proper grown up job!!
Quite a lot of faces I recognise, and everyone seems very.friendly. Haven't done anything taxing today, but did get taken for lunch which was nicePizza on the oven and bottle of ale open as a self-awarded celebratory treat. Here's hoping this is just the start of getting back on some kind of track, which I thought I had completely lost
