we can probably afford about £600k so that means that we need to leave this area to get 4 beds. thinking of going further out into surrey, and probably around to the south a bit. perhaps claygate sort of area. gets us away from the aircraft noise as well hopefully.
Better poised for a no meet up here in the future....if you would be interested. Though, think we are aiming for SE next time?:).0 -

So kids are being planned for.
You could end up in herts. Seems to be a NP magnet.0 -

Is it OTT to buy a pony for a child who has just hit the world and lives on a different continent?
No,If that's what you really want.

You are making me very glad I don't live in the SE. Glad you can afford it, though, and hope you find somewhere nice.lostinrates wrote: »But it also offers a protection for spouse and potentially children that only it or civil partnership can.
I am not opposed to not getting married ( not being religious I was very content with a civil ceremony). We got married when we did, how we did both because stress/ health meant the big wedding being planned did not appeal and even though dh was my nominated nok it was not working like that. In an emergency I am grateful, grateful grateful we are married. It cuts through all the carp.
I remember feeling like that when LNE had his first heart scare, a year after we got married.Would you get married again Lydia?
Yes. I'd take longer to pick somebody this time, though. Both at the "no longer just seeing each other but now in a relationship" transition, and the engagement decision. I wouldn't live with somebody without getting married, but that's a faith thing.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I think it was a Kindle he stepped on but yes :rotfl:0 -

yes, sort of, off the pill in january is the plan. all i managed to get with my negotiation skills in return is a confirmation that i would be allowed to go skiing every year. i might get that in writing though.

Looking for men? It's not going anywhere. I need to get my mental health sorted first. No point trying to start a relationship if I feel tired all the time and can't be bothered to do anything that doesn't have a deadline on it. I do think my mental health is better than it was a few months ago, though, so with a bit longer to spend gradually improving, I may get back to normal some time in the not too far distant future. My ex-boss (from when I had that second job at my church - not my immediate boss but the pastor that she reported to) talked to me yesterday after church and asked how I was doing. He's been encouraging me not just to try to cut out avoidable things in my life that deplete me, but to keep trying to include whatever I find fills my energy levels back up again. He's very wise.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
