That's generous of you. Do you expect to have to move out when they do sell it, or are they trying to sell it as a BTL with tenant included?lostinrates wrote: »A day off, when you have few, is something to be treasured. Love that idea. :rotfl:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

we will move out soon whether they sell it or not - they are trying to sell vacant possession (they did try to sell it to us first!). we will probably start looking to buy early next year i expect.
it is inconvenient when the flat you are renting is on the market - we have to accomodate 1-2 viewings most saturday lunch times for instance.
however, whilst this can get a bit old, it also means we've been on a rolling contract since our 12 month fixed term expired 18 months ago, and our rent has not gone up since the day we moved in 2.5 years back - so it's worth the extra hassle i think as it is cheaper than moving and we are not locked in.0 -

My iPad has a scratch on the screen now (PN will be nodding saying she knew it was gonna happen as I am so careless with it) so perhaps we can let chewy stand on mine.
smashing ipads is a new one for me, i have only trodden on a kindle so far. however, i would gladly smash an ipad if i could come on here afterwards and blame OH.0 -
Have you got down on one knee yet?0

Great. Now we just need to find somebody with a passport they don't mind having washed, and we can start getting in the bread and stuff for the sandwiches.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
