So michaels.... I really should, now, finally, commit to a posh phone....
I want a good camera, cheap phone, easy to use.... and I want it to: be able to receive/send emails, take good photos, use some free apps including sat nav.
What's your recommendation?
I've currently got a really old phone (circa 2000/2001?) that I pay a £10 monthly line rental on and pay 8p/text and 8p/minute for calls on. My monthly bill is therefore never more than about £10.50.
Don't want to end up with a big bill.
I am with T-mobile on the phone.
I have a dongle that I'll be cancelling soon, which is with three, but I've no idea if that account could just be changed/used for a posh phone or not.
In short: I know nothing and probably wish to order a new phone this week0 -
Programme just started on ITV1, Strictly Kosher.
Jewish people mourn for a week after the burial, which usually happens within 24 hours of death. How do they manage that on the basis of getting time off work?
Bloke whose mum had died can't enjoy himself or listen to music for a year.... he's just had to s0d off out of his own house as his wife's throwing a Hannukah party.0 -

One of these is a form of frankincense, aka Boswellia Serrata, which is great for joint pain. Unfortunately I can't get it in the UK any more. It has been used for thousands of years, surely there must be some science behind it (scratches head...). It even works on animals who don't know they are taking it, so there can be no placebo effect.
I genuinely believe where possible normal healthy people should be concentrating on diet to meet nutritional requirements.
As I make no secret of, I started using tumeric for the horses to great effect (three of ours take it). Old girl went on the standard medication for her ailment this spring and was not doing great on it at all. She is now on a supplement for the same condition and has got through an autumn and summer that has seen the demise of horses less advanced than her. She is an amazing survivor though, and it cannot go on forever. (she is now off the medication, as the side effects were too negative to be worth any weeks/months of life extention, but is on the supplement).
Dh had a sort of eating disorder surrounding nutraceuticals while I am fundamentally lazy about them, so we are very different.
The only two I actually feel different for the lackl of are my iron plus c and...oh blast...blank moment...magnesium. However, magnesium is very easily abused IMO, and people take it and give it to their animals with merry disregard.
When I was a researching scientist I worked in an area sponsored by a pharma/nutraceutical provider. It grates to this day that research I produced was produced to say 'feed this' when actually it said.....if you don't mess up by doing x y z then the statistical likely hood is that you will not need to feed this. Those products are now one of the biggest selling nutraceutical and veterinary precribed nutraceuticals in that sector and people feed them with out changing the basic management that leads to the problem that needs a solution.
Edit: in animal science I get the feeling more of us are open to nutraceutical control, large animal vets certianly are ( my vet was talking about some interesting arthritis research with a food grade oil and seed combo, all available at waitrose, or for ten times the price through pharmas) but there is an awful lot of very bad, counterproductive and frankly contraindicatory supplementation going on over the counter, and so e of the stuff 'shop girls' show me when I ask makes my hair curl. Those who know me will therefore be able to gauge how bad some of the stuff is!0 -

This was definitely the best sub £100 phone available until recently, there may be some better now but you wouldn't go wrong with this one. Probably worth googling for any comments on the camera as MP is often a poor guide to how good the photos are. One phone which seems to be available now for around 120-150 is the Nokia 800 which I suspect will be better built than most in the price range. There are obviously lots of good deals on payg sims - the one zagubov mentions and giff-gaff get a lot of mentions but local network conditions may be a factor. 3 give probably the best unlimited data but try and stop you 'tethering' - ie using the data on a laptop or via a dongle.
There are cheaper ways to get a phone / minutes /; data if you are willing / able to go down a contract route but I'm not sure if this is for you. (My new phone is a Sony xperia s, 12mp camera, 1280x720 res screen etc - I have had to sign up for a contract I won't actually use (100 reducing to 50 mins, a few hundred texts, no data) but the total cost after cashback, redemption, refer a friend etc should be £83 for a phone that costs at least £300 to buy off contract. My next contract is likely to be a sim only o2 redemption deal with 600 mins unlimited texts and 500mb data which will cost £25 for a year)I got the Huawei G300 Ascend for £100. Camera's only 5Mp !though. Does everything you want. Can read this forum on it. But would probably take forever to post things.

I only straighten mine on special occasions, so once this year so far and I gave up after faffing about for about 15 minutes.
For normal hair prep every morning, it takes about 10 seconds to brush it.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Personally, I almost never do, once a year, and I do not go for straight, merely wavey. Tbh, I don't find the obsession (curiously prominant in a country where hair is predominantly straight anyway) with straight hair suits many people (I thought your hair was very nice and suited you, feminine but not fussy).
My hair takes a long time to dry, but I do not help it. I wash it, put product in then put it in a loose bun sort of thing on the top of my head ( like a messy version of little mi from the moomins) some times I wrap it in a t shirt to take the worst of the sogginess from it (styling product is applied to very wet hair for curlies). If I left it loose it would dry quicker, but it also gets in the way and makes neck/ back/shoulders wet.0 -
