Welcome newbies - im going to pull my finger our today and have a total day of jsut finishing off my christmas plans. im going to finalise my gift list too because i want to know come christmas there are only a few people to buy for - im hoping on my side the only people i will have to buy for will be kids - 2 girls (my nieces) the oldest (2 years) will be getting a toy and the other who is due in september will more than likely be getting a few little bits. (rattles). And then i can focus the rest of the shopping on my Ben and OH

I read all the post about home made hampers last year and thought about how I would be gutted to get one off someone, as though this house isn't already full of rubbish. Much rather someone just spent the £10 they spent putting it together on a bottle og gin.

It was my birthday on Saturday and i'm preggas so no gin!

OH's mum gave me a bag with a couple of mags, a bar of green and blacks white chocolate, a lovley big mug and satches of flavoured horlick and a nighty.

It was one of the nicest things to receive, so thoughtfull. Mum got me everything the body shop does in white musk and I had a long soak, read my mags, put on my new nighty and had a big cup of horlicks and a huge bar of chocolate. So relaxing.

Oooh - whats the roby thingy? I don't enter many comps cuz it gets so boring having to fill in my details over and over again.

Well peeps. i have had a really good day. I went into town today adn was on my way back a bit disheartened as i couldnt find anything that was goign to help me in my 'must get the hampers sorted soon' quest. Anyway was wandering back past Thorntons and noticed they had a sale table. So went in for a looksie - there were beautiful little gift boxes of chocolates - have about 9 choccies in each in dark, milk and white chocolate. Anyway they were ment ot be about £4 but i got them for £1.25 each and the dates are good until June 2008!!! They were reduced becuase they werent selling so these are going into my two pamper hampers, just need a big fluffy towel now and a few candles and they are done............................................... Then i was wandering past wilkinsons and i went in for an egg timer. Was looking round the cooking section and decided that i could pick up a few bits for my sisters cooking hamper. Anyway half way through i changed my mind and im now doing a baking hamper for her. In total i got cup cake tins (£2.99)
    a wooden spoon (23p)
    sieve (99p)
    2 sandwich tins (89p each so £1.78)
    rolling pin(95p)
    cookie cutters (69p)
    icing set (69p)
    whisk (59p)
    4pc spatula set (79p)
anyway i brought all this then it suddenly dawned on me 'oh no what if she hasnt got a mixing bowl??' so i went back adn got a big plastic mixing bowl for 99p (which is now becoming the hamper). In total the lot cost me £10.69 so i think i might buy a nice note pad and steal some of the ideas off this site and the organized christmas site and make her her own recipe book.

    It's called RoboForm - google it :)

it's seriously easy to enter lots of competitions when you use it. Insteda of a couple of mins per entry (if you type fast!) it's more like 20 seconds!!!
