You just need a plan of action, set an evening aside and... ...
1. Write down exactly who you are to buy for and the price you are willing to spend.
2. You can do same presents for people on different sides of the family if they dont know each other or if you think they wouldnt mind the same pressie. This means you can use the buy one get one free offers and its less hassle trying to think of something else for them
3. List all the baskets/boxes you need to find.
4. Write down everything you know that you wish to buy (but dont be too rigid incase you find a bargain)
5. Now rewrite your list lol sorry but I find it easier this way and put items under categories of shops...i.e. woolworths/wilkinsons/boots/tescos etc.
6. Have a trip to a car boot and look for unopened toiltries/unopened games etc and baskets/boxes. This can be a good start for them.
7. Buy cellophene/ribbon/bows from ebay/internet or local florists.
Hope this helps....and good luck :santa2:
Thanks ever so much for the advice.... That's my evening planned then... (I'm at work at the moment:o ) I'll get myself sat down with a notepad and start making lists!!!
Cheers guys!!0 -

my local primark are selling the christmas cards where you can put in a photo of your child, they are dead cheap. i paid £1 for a box of 8!! they are heaps more in mothercare.
you may get them cheaper online but this is the cheapest i've seen them in the shops.

Ok I am soooooo nearly there now!! Though I may have just drastically reduced the number of gifts I need to buy as OH and I may be splitting up... His family is really difficult to buy for so I have hardly bought any gifts for them yet, and those that I have bought will be appreciated by my sister next year :rotfl:0

im taking my aunt shopping today to the debenhams sale as she needs something new to wear for an upcoming family party, she asked what i would be getting and i told her £200's worth of xmas pressies from argos for my brood as the vouchers are on just now.
She looked at me as if i was quite mad and said but you will need something new for the party
i said dont think so and if i do it will come from good old asda for a maximun of a tenner but i dont need anything new.
cant wait to see her face when i come out of argos laden and clutching my two £10 vouchers for the january sale for next years bargain xmas shopping.
