Just tried to set up an account on the monilink website (and the hsbc one) and there seems to be some problem and have been told to try again later.
Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem may be?
Is it a problem with their servers or something because the amount of people trying to register?
I've had the monilink application sent to my mobile but it keeps telling me to sen 'bank' to the number - which I have already done!
ARRRGGGHHH!!! I just want my £10!! lol :rotfl:
Any advice would be much appreciated - Cheers - Truss.0 -
Are you getting "MONILINK Account Unknown" error along with the message "Please text BANK to 82428 to download an updated MONILINK application onto your mobile phone or re-register at monilink.co.uk"? You might not have the proper connection settings needed for MONILINK applications. Got to this page it will explain how to set up your GPRS connection for your phone model

I signed up on the Alliance & Leicester page and got a text message from Monilink telling me to go to this URL:
http://wap.monilink.co.uk/checkhandset.wml
Unfortunately the web page does not work - there's not even a DNS entry for wap.monilink.co.uk! Tried it on my PC too and my phone can access other web sites fine.
Idiots.
Edit: Now the DNS is working but the connection times out...0 -

I've already set it properly twice and also tried the whole process on another similar phone with no success. Did phone the help line mentioned in one of the above posts and told the problem may lie in the Virgin network and I will be informed when it's resolved. Knowing my luck - they will probably have reached the 20 000 subscription level by then :mad:0 -
