I have a current account with First Direct and A&L so can I claim the £10 twice?

From your post it looks like the phone has done a factory reset kind of thing. You sure you didn't do factory reset? Its Highly unlikely that a Java application will wreck your phone's software. While any application is still running on your phone and you are doing a force restart then their are chances that it might corrupt your files system. The best way is to contact Sony Ericsson support centre and explain them saying after running a J2ME application your file system is corrupted. J2ME application always runs in a sandbox model(protected environment), so it has no access or permission to even see any of your file system and corrupt them.

It looks like your wap/gprs settings are incorrect. There is a nice help/FAQ section for most of the handsets related problem in MONILINK website, here is the link

Simply select your device and operator type and it will guide you to fix errors.

Having problems. Using a SE K700i on the Virgin network. On trying to download from the link, after about a minute finallly receive the message:

I had a problem with my settings and tried the website and got the same message, "Unexpected error
An unexpected error has occurred on the MONILINK™ web site.

We are currently looking into the problem.

Please come back soon."

I called their customer services this morning and they talked me through the settings and I'm all up and runnnig. Just waiting for my activation code now. Their number is 0800 083 5212 or you can email them http://www.monilink.co.uk/monilinkinfo/contact/showForm.do

The website problem was something to do with them doing a scheduled upgrade of their systems overnight. All is fixed now!!!1

Merely making the point that if it takes 2 hours of my time to earn £10 from this, it's not money saving to do that as I'd be better off at work earning more. Or relaxing, earning nothing but doing some time saving. You don't save any money by doing this, you just get money if you do the work. Which is what we all have to do anyway.

Which network are you on? They've got all the settings for it on their site. Just select the make, model and network and it should tell you.
