Bank with A&L, First Direct or HSBC? Nab a free £10 for mobile banking trial

My A&L bank statement shows two £10 credits. One is "Bank Incentive", the other "Link Interchange." Am I to assume that one is the £10 for signing up and the other is the compensation for charging me £1.50 instead of 20p? It would be nice if Monilink identified itself better. I have no way of knowing for sure if these transactions are from Monilink or not. It could be someone else putting money into my account. So Monilink would you please take this as feedback.

Hi I have been waiting 4-5 weeks too. Emailed Monilink on Thursday last week and they rang me on Friday.

Apologised for the delay in sending out the £10, and said that a lot of other people have had problems too. Have promised me it will be in my account by Tuesday at the latest - but to contact them again if it isn't.

i spent ages setting this up as my statement address is not wholly correct. as i don't get mailed statements anymore i had forgotten that. your address must be EXACTLY as on the statement for that card.

ended up setting it up on the phone itself hope that doesn't cost too much as i pay per download or something like that. it would be my luck that setting up costs £10!

funny tho regular correspondence from the bank (first direct) is right, and the credit card from the same bank has yet another variation... i wonder if i can now claim twice?

just waiting my s/mail acknowledgment now.

£10 received this morning.

And just noticed on their website that it is now free for all balance enquiries & mini-statements until 31.12.07.

when i test the connection it has the logo and please wait but just stays like that for ages and nothing else happens??

I have just called HSBC - they have not heard of Monolink and advised me to cancel my card to have a new one reissued - I have done that.
