Hello all
Feeling very proud after reading your congrats NSK. It's like having Santa tell you you've been a good girl!!!:D:rotfl:
I realised that on an October 2am Christmas shop at joules online, I got a 'free' notebook... (and 3 for 2 biscuit tins!! 2 voucher codes were working together that shouldn't:T) so I just dug it out & it is actually a beautiful little book. My own personal scribbling is shopping/to-do lists, then the next page full of yet more of the same. Very wasteful as I leave a lot of each page untouched. I have to say being left-handed does kill the desire to write. I drag my little finger across new ink and smudge it ALL the time. I write cards from kisses upwards rather than 'To so and so' first...Fountain pens are enough to give me the cold sweats... I still remember being forced to upgrade to a fountain pen aged 9 at school.
Anyhoo, today is yet another NSD as we have not even got out of our pyjamas today, bar littlie whose nappy soaked through several layers of clothing and led to even the mattress cover being stripped and washedcue extreme radiator heat due to lack of any other drying method  she is a poorly but cheerful little bean today as opposed to the screaming abdabs we had all day yesterday.. :A
off to get my accounting app up to date... tata for now!

Joules online... Mmm.. I will be investigating.
@happy: yay for being strong! *high fives*
£2.75/3.50 Doing very low paid surveys to make up the money. Also 39/100sb. It's slow today.
Also the oven just broke.
During cooking dinner.
Awesome. :cool:0 -

Happy, sorry it's higher than you thought! My MBNA card was happily paying off at £30 per month and I wasn't really taking notice of the vast amounts of interest. I logged on, thinking the worst it could be was £650-700 as it had been 8 months since I last bothered to check... it was STILL at over £1000, basically about £3 less than 8 months previous. I cried. Butttt, I worked my bum off and it's gone! You have made a massive overpayment today. Be happy about that!!!!!!! And PROUD!
Killer is very right, we will be raising a huge huge cuppa to you
Killer, boo hiss to the oven, hope you managed to get your dinner anyway? Half oven cooked, half pan fried? :P Joules was lovely, but the main reason I did it was it was 3 for 2 and £10 off a £30 spend... the 2 were not supposed to work together but did for a short time, hence the 2am shopPretty stuff though. Got lovely biscuit tins for people with marmalade biscuits etc in them
Bath or shower people? I feel the need for a relaxing bath after 3 days of screaming E; however, the boiler is not warming up enough for some reason and it will be a super fast bath...

Jeesuussssss, £3 in 8 months? I knew minimum payments were bad but not that bad. I've made £2.75 in surveys today and it's a bad day!
Dinner was only 10 minutes from done so we (by this I mean Mum) just kept the door shut and hoped for the best. Thankfully we're all medium rare people.
Actually just had a look at Joules, it's really nice! Why have I never heard of this before!?
Personally I would go for a shower but I haven't had a shower since the last time I visited friends back in Uni.But if you want a bath go for it!

Yes; it was just the kick up the bum I needed to get cracking on reducing my debt FAST. I couldn't believe it. My ex owes me £2.5k (and needs to remove me from our joint mortgage & house deeds) and I guess I was just expecting that to come in and fix everything. It's 2 years late so far so I am not holding out any hope. But just you wait until he wants to change mortgage or sell. I can hold that up for years too! In the meantime I paid it myself and if and when I ever get that mythical money it will be going on a nice (cheap) holiday for me and my family and straight into a savings bond for the rest!
LMAO at your cooking methods. I tend to do that a lot, save myself the electric on the final 5 minutes or so's cooking. Cheapskate. Hope you don't all come down with food poisoning
I'd never heard of Joules until (Facebook - JOIN THIS GROUP!!) 10 Ways to Have More Money as a Student posted the glitch. Went to have a peek. Cute stuff, free Xmas present... win
I am heading for the shower. Kiddo keeps waking up so a bath in the room right next to hers is just torture. Shower is white noise though, she'll sleep right through it. Go figure!

Your right guys I should be rejoicing at paying an extra £500 rather than looking at the overall. I guess it's just one of them days, last month we did really well with minimal spends so fingers crossed for this month. Hopefully il be able to pay between £50-100 off :-) anything left over in fuel budget and food budget will also be ushered onto the negative wealth. I'm going to have a basic minimal spend of a month :-) xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES.
