Happy am glad you got a wee book to write in. Remember your ideas and wants and desires can go in there too.
Well I heading out in London for some much deserved end of NOvember ( Tastecard ) food with a girlfriend... I shall be passing by Selfridges for a "look" and shall report back on the state of their fountain pen display. It worries me that I could spend an inordinate amount of money on a pen if I had it and sometimes I wonder - should I just live for the moment and stick it on the credit card like anyone else would do...
However there is always something inside me that screams DON'T DO IT! And I always walk away.. maybe one day when I know I have NO MORE debt my reward with be that £150 pen that I know I will use...
And then I shall revive the lost art of letter writing I used to love so much...

Evening all. 2 days overtime in the bag - plenty into my 'cash' pot
and guaranteed 4+ hours next week, and at least 4.5 hours per week all December. Now, to work out whether to include it into DDD or leave it aside to be played with for other things... (non-frivolous I might add...)
I start back to work Jan 9th (overtime will be done with then) and lost a stone during my pregnancy due to all day sickness & acid reflux for 9 months & my kidneys swelling up to large painful balloons... Haven't put it back on, so now all my pre-pregnancy work clothes hang off me! I HAVE to buy new work clothes. I got a promotion and new job title whilst on maternity leave and my tesco t-shirts and smart trousers will no longer work even if they didn't fall down! I'm sure I can do this on a budget and still look nice AND smart!!
Now, to the good news... Today we completely paid off the final £400 of the MBNA card!!! It's GONE!!!!!!!!!! SO proud!!!! Our only other debt is on 0% and being paid off £45 per month over the minimum.it will be gone by the time the 0% ends and we shall be completely debt free!!!!!!!
Now off to do my online shopping via moneysupermarket who have kindly offered to pay me back my delivery charge if I use them again
Toodles!!! xx

well done Lilt!!!
I have to confess I am also a secret stationery lover, I cannot resist a nice notebook! I'm not one for pens though.
I've had quite a low spend day today, met my sister and her OH in town, they treated me and DS to hot chocolate and cake, took two dresses back to Next so that saved some pennies on my a/c. We bought two gift cards for xmas pressies and apart from a Maccy D's for DS we didnt pay for anything else.
Off to a party soon, I wont know anyone there so will be the saddo mum sitting on the corner on her own! It will be manic, 40 kids! Eeeek!
When we get back from aforementioned party I will carry on wrapping up the xmas pressies, nearly done!Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

Misslady thats nice of your sister i love a freebie. Hi killer how has your first week at work been ? My xmas is going to be spent with my family yippeee free xmas dinner and boxing day dinner :P hehehe... I have 3 more xmas gifts to buy and then we are done for the xmas shopping yay. This wage for me was a tad low so ive decided that instead of buying gifts for me and oh we will stump it towards next months negative wealth as that will be a gift in my eyes
Im so excited of the prospect of May 2013 been the unsecured dfd yippee if i can make it any sooner i will lol x

Thanks Killer, Annie & Happy. I am still buzzing today about paying it off.
I managed to get my shopping done in Asda before 11pm last night (online) and it will be delivered today between 2 & 4... moneysupermarket are paying me back the £5 delivery charge for the privilege! Normally I would do a £2.50 8 hour slot in the week but hey, if someone else is paying
I had word back from my catalogue that they have closed my account nowI think the problem with my credit score is down to me having access to ridiculous amounts of money and not using it. As a finance bod working in a firm of IFA's I should apply more of the stuff I do at work to home. December resolution eh?!
I'm reducing the credit limit on the paid off CC1, to £500 for extreme emergency use only... When my CH looks a little better then I will cancel it & the other card & try and get a cashback card
Finally went on Amazon trade-in & got offered £9.70 for a book I have never even opened!!! Spurred me on to get going through my falling apart bookcase & reduce it's burden of weight somewhat!!
Happy I am seriously rooting for you to get that bonus and get some more of your debt paid off!! Really proud of you, and in fact, of everyone!!
Christmas Peaty... We are staying in our own home for our first family Christmas. OH parents haven't quite let go of their little boy yet so are sending a huge hamper full of sweets, biscuits, chocolate, cheeses & smoked salmon/ham etc. Looking forward to that. Everything they buy is something we don't have to!!!
