Good Evening Ladies..
I am pooped! I slept for 4 and a half hours this morning and had to get up. Nice to see you Happy making overpayments - its frustrating about the amount left and so annoying for you but you are clearly making progress now - make me want to check my bike loan tomorrow. Very annoying that I can't check it on-line but apparently its a different department to the normal bank bits and isn't accessible on-line..odd!!
Made it into town to buy a few bits for this impending hike at the weekend. I can only imagine out in the middle of nowhere I am going to FREEZE! So I budgeted £50 to buy a few things and what did I spend....£90!!! I know I needed these bits anyway but this weekend is looking more and more of a mistake as I get closer to it... I know that this money saving malarky is VERY important and I can make this money up by cutting a few things ( I think ) but I suppose I should be social but what an idiot... I should have just said "no-thanks maybe next year!"
So I am a grumpy NSK tonight. I also bought a girlfriend a budgeted meal to re-pay what she bought me three months ago.. I saved £4 there I think as I budgeted £25 and spent £21..and money leftover from my meal out on Friday to the tune of £6.25, and I can cut out a NYE diary I wanted @ £13.. so there is at least £20....feel like an eejit but I really needed this stuff for future frolicks in the outdoors, everything was half price or discounted....
Hummmph maybe I should not have gone when very tired...
Anyway... I went t the cinema. I have the Cineworld card @ £14.99 a month - my friend doesn't and paid £9.30. She might look to getting the card at some point but as we were talking about the cinema I thought I should add that I popped my own corn and took it with me.. and NEVER buy there!
Okay..I need to make come calculations and hit the sack. Sorry I have ignored you all today and this is a write and run...
Ohhh one more thing...
I watched a program tonight about a woman in Jordan who was offered a job to learn how to be an engineer in India - her husband and family put up a fight and made it very difficult for her as she is a woman and should just stay home!! She is now a qualified engineer, following 6 months away from her 4 daughters, is pregnant with her 5th and teaching the rest of the village women to be engineers. She powered up the first solar powered light in Jordan in her tent to rapturous applause from her little ones.... she said "you can do anything you want to do"..
That means you lots my little kittens - you can do anything - even bust those debts and get free of it... we are in a good position to do something about it - so lets get on and get it done!!!

Lol there's no more skimming to be done on my spreadsheet. We get paid early this payday but I shall budget carefully. The only thing il be excited about doing with said early wage is paying and closing said card before December is out xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Morning everyone! What are everyones plans today? I have a busy day, I have to wrap up the ebay parcels, possibly go to B&Q to buy a set of taps for the bath, the tap is leaking and my water bill will be huge now we are on a meter, I am then going to Costas in Tescos to meet a friend and her baby, then going into town to meet a friend for Bowling!
Now, I can reduce this to an MSE day as I have points on my Costa card, the bowling is pre-paid, I can bring a drink & snacks with me for DS for bowling and Costa so really all I will be paying for is the taps which are a necessity so will they count as a spend?!? haha!!
Happy my payday is earlier this month, now if I was sensible like my sister I would ignore it being in my bank and pretend payday was on 24th like normal.... hmmmmn I dont think this will happen though!
Lilt I know exactly where you are coming from with the interest never going down on the CC's, it seems like a never ending cycle, im lucky that bar one the CCs are all on 0% now so at least I can make a bit of headway, when they are finally gone I will make overpayments on my loan.
I might phone the bank up about that actually as i've noticed the interest varies each month, im not sure if its because I paid £10 into it as a 'tester' to see if they would accept it or refund me back, they kept it and took it off the balance so it would seem they accept extra payments. My theory was to try and pay in the 'interest' each month as an overpayment. I could use my £81.20 child benefit (as that all goes 'in the pot' each month) and then if the interest stays as what it was this month (£129) then I would have to pay another £50, which doesnt sound that hard really, £1.60 a day? Sound feasible? That way the loan would be paid off in a much quicker time!
Killer, LOL at your oven story! Hope your dinner was nice! We were full up from pizza hut so skipped dinner last night.
I was wondering, what other areas of MSE do you all go on? This site is so huge I always find something new to read! I enjoy the DFW page, credit cards, Food, Shopping & Groceries, Ebay and the Old Style boards. Oh and my most useful one (bar this page!) the discount/coupon forum! When i'm on a quiet night at work this website fills a good 5 hours for me in between calls! I love it!!Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

Hi all, miss lady i stay on the dfw board i dont venture much further haha. I have enough on updating on diaries and catch ups lol. I have altered some of my card payments to double what they was and i have a reasonable amount to get us through the month! I have a personal target of reaching 40k overall paid by the end of dec and this will be done with making extra money. I will use ohs bonus as surplus on top of the 40k
its always good to set little targets isnt it
. xx

Can't say the November challenge was entirely successful but it has got me back into a more dfw mindset after a blip or two. I've chickened out of the DDD challenge though:D
Good news on the loan over-repayment :T0
