  • Eggs are the one thing I spend my money on..used to buy Clarence Court eggs...lovely yellow yolk, blue shell but they have disappeared from most SM's..

I would be super careful with meat but understand why cheap is cheerful..

Morning all, just a quickie as I head out to work...I made my final payment this morning to the Virgin Mastercard :j It's gone!! And more importantly, it will never return!!!

Loving reading everyone's tales (just too busy to post back but I'll catch up properly tonight - I promise)

Good luck with the job killer :D

Right, I'm off to earn some money...there are some debts on my hitlist and I'm not slowing down!!
  • Hi All

Hope you all had good weekends - thanks again for your warm welcomes last week! Killer I hope your job is going well today!

Well done Siouxsie on paying off a debt! Great start to a Monday!!

Didn't manage to get on at the weekend as I went into clear out frenzy mode. Managed to find an old ipod which I can recycle for £25 and got 4 coats almost brand new I can list on ebay. Also have a massive box for car boot once the weather improves so feel like I had a productive time! Just as well the weather was so rubbish!!

  • Hi everyone, well im just having a sit down and a cup of tea, i've had a busy morning, dentist, post office, Tescos and then I cleared out my wardrobe of 4 years worth of xmas, bday, anniversary, engagment, baby cards and cut off the back page to recycle into labels and home made xmas cards by DS! It took ages and made such a mess!! I got a bit choked up at some cards as there were some from my Nan & Grandad (no longer with us) so i've kept them to one side for a memory box.

The Christmas tree has fallen over 3 times today (kitten!) so ive tied it up with wool to the cd rack so hopefully that will do the trick!!

I've paid about 4 extra payments onto my CC yesterday from all my ebay sales, everyone paid promptly which was nice so everything was posted today recorded as there were higher priced items this time round. The card will be cleared with my wages from my second job on 12 December!

  • missladyannie sounds like you had a very productive morning!! Very good - and good progress on the CC too! I think I'm going to have the xmas tree/cat destruction problem when I get mine next weekend!

Lilt - I just googled recycle ipod and lots of different companies came up! The average at the moment is £25 but some are more so I'm going to trawl through them all to get the best price. Music Magpie offered £9 so steer clear of them! Definitely have a good clear out though - made me feel so much better and my cupboards are now full of things I need rather than just "stuff"!
