My dad took my computer screen and put it away so I have had no access to my "tower" or desktop depending on how early you came to computers. So yeah, no access to my music collection
I heard of this woman who used to write to brands she liked saying how much she liked them in hopes of getting freebies and it would work occasionally. I've never done it though. Also I think most of the chocolate brands have clubs where they send out chocolate to try. My mum used to do focus groups so as a child I tried out the new version of a lot of chocolates before all of my friends. It was awesome. Apart from bounty. Ha ha. Your sister sounds amazing!
That must be so annoying! But since she bought it online, she can return it due to the greater rights given to online shopping. I didn't know that Zavvi was still around!0 -
I sold my ipod on ebay recently , I think I bought it for about £80 in 2005, it was an Ipod mini. I sold it for £25 which I was quite pleased about, it went to a lady who had the same one which had broken and she used to use it connected to her car stereo. I left all my music on there, so heaven knows what she thought about that random collection!!!
I would like an ipod (and an ipad for that matter!) but I dont need one, and wouldnt get any use out of it so I wont give in!
Swimming yesterday was quite a success, although the pool was freezing!! DS was very good, I was impressed. We managed to get the money back for bowling (as our friends were ill) so we can go another time on a complimentary ticket. We then came home and put the Christmas Tree up!! Who cares if its only 19 November!?!? DS enjoyed it, and so does our kitten who thinks it is an activity centre for cats and keeps pinging the branches up to get the baubles off and then chases them around the room!! I will need to hoover everyday to get all the bits of needles up! The tree is still going strong considering my sister gave it to me 6 years ago (after she had it for about 6 years herself!)Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

Hey that's a lot Annie!! Mine was from 2007 I think. Still goin strong & I use it every day. Have 2 docks so I can bop along wherever I am in the house lol. Gets more use indoors than out at the moment. They seem to be going for £16-20 for a 1gb version & mine is 2. I'd be happy with a 5er and the postage in all honesty, since it was a gift from my ex's parents.
I so wanted to put my Christmas tree up when I bought it a few weeks ago. Honestly it's the first time I've had a tree and am having Christmas in my own home in 5 years, plus it's DD's first Xmas... I restrained myself and put it on the top of the wardrobe though. November 28th, the day after DH's birthday, that baby is UP!!! Don't want him to feel like I skipped his birthday!
Love cats & trees, really make me laugh! My cat (had to go to a new home) used to climb my sisters tree all day and sit in the branches at the top
Killer- I got one in 1998towers all the way baby!! (I'm 26 before you get my Zimmer frame ready for Xmas). Sucks to not be able to update. Still, 18 days, can't repeat itself too often eh?
Zavvi has made a comeback & is owned by the hut. Basically you're shopping at the hut, everything is the same. But cashback on topcashback was good

Good day people, well me and oh has a successful shopping trip for xmas prezzies! we have only 4 left to buy and we have written all the xmas cards ready for action lol! I was extreamly pleased. I dislike xmas shopping because i dislike spending money because i think about negative wealth lol! I have budgeted monthly for it next year so if i come under budget its a bonus
.....

@lilt: Ha ha I wouldn't get a zimmer for you, my household has had a computer for longer than I've been alive. :rotfl: My dad got into the computing business right at the beginning I think (I don't know, he was a private man), he has been credited with creation or joint creation of a few things. Unfortunately I can't tell you as err I have no idea.
18 days is JUST enough I think. My sister has my music on her's (not updated for 4-5 years) and she didn't know we have monster mash on it. ha ha.
@annie: I'm thinking about getting into swimming, how much does it cost? Water sports is neigh on the only exercise I'm allowed.
@happy: Wow you're organised! I haven't even thought about it yet
I have spent nearly £100 today... On clothes, two pairs of jeans which FIT as my current ones literally fall off if I don't belt them up and some shirts (same reason). I'm also going to spend even more today as I have a rotaract meeting. Don't yell at me for being expensive. T_T0 -
@killer, I think it was £4.60 for an adult swim, but my pool does offer a membership fee, £20 for the year or something ridiculously cheap and you get in for a lower rate. I cant remember the childrens rate as my son is (ahem) 3 when we go to the swimming pool, or other such related places!!! lol!Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails

Thanks annie : ) I need to see how much that is compared to a gym membership. How long can you get away with being 3? ha ha
@Happy: rotaract is the youth division of rotary, the business networking and fundraising group? It's for anyone from 18 to 30, there's also "interact" which is under 18's but I don't think it's in this country. I found out about it last year when I was living with a Romanian who dragged me to the group, it's actually a lot of fun.0 -
Ah i see, makes you sound all important
hehe
