  • Happy try a beauty outlet.. I got a pair of "pretend" GHD's 10 years ago and they are still going strong. No-where near the price as well.. Like Sally's or any hair place for traders.. you can still buy in there without the trader discount...

  • I want coupons, I want beans. I swear if I could get them on the cheap I would live on beans in December until I go to my parents on the 18th...big shop when I get home in January?..

Lilt your comments about your sister made me LOL!!..

I feel sorry for your cat (& colleagues - but cat has to sleep with you...) if you're going to live on beans my dear ;) Maybe a good idea that Geordie boy is out of the picture...

Another note about sisters.. Just because I am older, does not mean I started it. Nor, does it mean that I win. She BITES.

Have a good evening all. I'm off to make lists & get some shuteye.

    OaU ;)

  • Morning! Thanks for all your replies re age gaps etc, coupons, beans!!

I have a headache today from the Southern Comfort which I found under the sink, just catching up on Facebook with the xfactor updates, I still can't work out who went! Everyone appears to be in uproar though!

Well its my day off today and DS and I were going bowling with a friend and her children but they have cancelled as they were up all night unwell so I have been persuaded to take him swimming.... I dont DO swimming, that is DH's job!! This will be interesting!

Kat I wish I still lived in Croydon, I could come and find you and give you lots of Beans!!! Well done on meeting your £1000 targets, thats brilliant!!!

I'm a sucker for a voucher, I post all the ones I don't use to my MIL who appreciates it. I'm off to get some cheap Cushelle today for my mum from the Coop, £2.50 with my 50p voucher.

Theres lots of advice and tip offs on the coupon threads on here too xx

If you have a Farmfoods near you, they're great for decent quilted loo roll (Nicky brand) - 9 rolls for £2.25 or 18 for £4 in ours.

Thanks, i've often read about Farmfoods and also Home Bargains and B&H shops? I will have to Google them to see where they are all based.

Does anyone on here belong to Costco? I think my nearest is Croydon... not sure whether to become a member, though I think you can go for free the first time as a trial?

Annie I used to belong to Costco. Found that it was great for bulk buying but I'd spend so much in 1 go. Undoubtedly a bargain for the brands on show but still downshifting etc is cheaper. That was in derby anyway.

My mum (Nottingham) goes to jtf warehouse & buys me bulk toilet rolls & giant bottles of detergent & comfort etc. love that place!!!

Forgot to say I LOLed at you drinking the SoCo after you said it was for Xmas! Have a good night?! Haha. And LOL Kat very true.
