Happy its the only thing keeping me ticking over..; - ).. If my "watched eBay" bits actually sell I will have £58.. although I am doubtful judging by last Sundays disastrous results..
Siouxie.. I am going to sit and look into this properly when I get home. I joined one and told them my home address is easier to work from when in actual case it isn't if I am coming from central London... so I will get logged into a few of these. I'd do anything for food..; - )...
Did the chair guy arrive in the end..?“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. In the grand scale of things a £1.55 breakfast (which seems great value for money I have to say!!) isn't going to break the bank! Although, you're right to think about every penny you spend - well done :money: Out of curiosity, if you still have money left on payday, will it go towards a debt or will you use it for something else?
Oh, just while I remember, I saw an advert in the paper for Halifax who have a promotion offering £100 if you switch to them. I'm already with them so I can't switch, but the account I have gives you £5 each month as long as you pay in £1000. It may be worth considering a switch?
There are a few MS companies that let you register more than one address. What time of day is your time killing? I'll have a think about the assignments I do and see if any would fit in with your spare time.
I've got lots of watchers on ebay too. I had another email last night asking if I would consider ending an auction early for £10 - yip! It was just something I got free at work and thought I might get £5 if I was lucky! It's all paid for and posted and the money should be in my account tomorrow :j Has anyone else noticed Paypal is much quicker at transferring funds? It used to be 3-5 days but recently all my transfers have gone into my bank the next day!
Left a message for the chair guy - he didn't show last night but a few other people are interested in the chair so if he's still not in touch tonight, I'll contact one of the others and hopefully they'll come and take it away
Still no payslip for me. Hopefully they'll show tomorrow and I can get to work planning for November. I'm going to join you kat on the really precise budgeting. I'm going to batten down the hatches for the full month  I have one night out semi-planned but other than that, it's PJs on the sofa for me! I normally have a strict-ish budget but for one full month, I'm going super-strict!!!!0 -
Ooh, it's all quiet around here...I wonder if Geordie Boy came round0

Haha yes it is very quiet indeed :-) xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. LBM 08£77240.69 Current outstanding total £36083.01 Paid so far = £41157.680

:jWell a VERY VERY good morning to you all!!! :j
How are the kittens this morning ( that's you lot )...Mama Kat had a busy night last night at a beloved colleagues leaving do. Nothing to do with Geordie Boy girlies sorry to say...AND we are just friends - really...
Well yesterday we left the office around 1300 and as tempting as it was to tell you how much lunch was I thought I would wait and write you an epic this morning instead!! I left at 7.30pm like a good girl and nearly froze my paws off on the way home... I packed for tonight's trip to see friends for this birthday party and hit the sack - back up at 0500. Its been a constant 9 days on now and I am SO tired.... anyhoooo.....
Lunch was lovely, drinks were bought for me ( lemonade is getting pricey - £2.60 a pint!! ).. and I have a total of £53.75 left in my "spend money". Which means that £17.75 was spent... This includes buying 1 drink for myself ( £2.60), lunch itself ( £13 ), breakfast ( £2.15 - explanation to follow ) ... Ta Da! Right down to the last penny and under my £20 allowance and this INCLUDES breakfast this morning...
So breakie explanation ..( this time it included fried tomatoes hence the price hike of 60p ).....Wait for it...
My insurance reduced by £119!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T. I was in shock and whooped for joy - my colleagues though I was nuts! I immediately paid it and then checked my "leftover for the month" and was able to transfer £160 to my my CC which is now fully paid off and then rewarded myself with breakfast.
Now I am not getting to excited as I am still in my OD by Nearly £1000. I have £80 left until the end of the month as I just transferred £2.96 to my "Land" loan making it an even £9150 left to pay....( is that sad )..? AND £8.89 to my "petrol" account.. giving me £15 to spend ( had to put £10 in last night and that will only last one trip to my friends house )..
So ... I am so DETERMINED now its unreal! I have in my silly NSK head now that I can get rid of the Overdraft AND the Bike Loan making a whopping great £4029.18 gone by the end of the year.
I am working on Saturday night for the overtime and the following Sunday - this is all double time. I intend to work one day of the weekend every week unless I can cope with more.
There are people bidding on small bitty bits on eBay but nothing massive. I am trying to sell and electronic cat feeder for £15 - hoping someone just buys it!
Otherwise it will be back to the drawing board of how to raise more funds from within my house in November... this Sunday I will be working out my budget including ( as I am sure you all do ) the little bits ..drying cleaning my winter coat, re-heeling some shoes, etc.
So there you go ladies... a good day yesterday I think!!! Am hoping to come back home tonight and spend a lot of tomorrow in bed before work at 11pm.... so hopefully a weekend of NSD's...
Siouxsie - If I have any money over I am tempted to send it straight to the bike loan but I don't class it as "clean" money as its not mine. Stealing for Peter to pay Paul as they say! So I am happy as to where it stands now - but I can't say its not tempting!
Free time on Wednesday is between 1500 ( ish ) and 1800. Very specific but I technically should work until 1500 and my meetings starts at 1900 - and I defo can't be late. Otherwise I am very central.. I should really look into this MS thing... anything involving food sounds amazing! :rotfl:
Paypal is super fast for me! Any news from Chair Guy.. glad you have back up buyers though - these must be some special chairs!
Lets do the super strict November then. I might post on here on Monday a list of what you are allowed and not allowed and see how many people will join in. I have no pre-planned events but might do something for Bonfire night on the 3rd. Otherwise I love that statement "batten down the hatches" - lets do it!!!
Killer Peaty - Have you contacted St John Ambulance yet? Any more jobs interviews?... tell me tell me. What about eBay for you - have you listed more..?
Happy - Whats going on in Happy Land...?
HappyDaddy - Where are you - talk to us ladies?...
And watchers / lurkers / readers please join in - sorry for my epic's but one needs to catch up and dispel supposition that I would dare to put a man before MSE....:A
.....( Onwards and Upwards )....

I really want a can of Pepsi Max. I really :heart2: Pepsi Max. :smileyhea.
From the vending machine its 70p. I must resist!
I work harder when I have a can in my hand though...
From Tesco's last month they were £1.50 for 8.
... by the way, I've just found the Smile List.:starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod::starmod:“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Good afternoon ninja WELL DONE on the paying the card off that is AMAZING....happy land ? is happy i have been paid a little more than i had budgetted for so there is the potential to clear another loan off and free up 151.17 per month which is good but i will do that towards the end of november
this months target is to keep my bank as tidy as possible
ie minimal spends draw out cash for purchases etc etc etc .... this month oh should get a bonus but we will count that when it comes

Happy that's what I am aiming for. A cleaner bank statement. I do it online so will print my statement and go through it with a highlighter etc. Drawing out money helps so much as physically handing over money is painful!
That's a super duper amount you got there to play with! And big fat fingers crossed for the bonus - I am getting a littler extra this month as well but am unsure how much..
I did just buy lunch and that naughty Pepsi. Gotta get these standards up. I have £50.20 left... Sorry....:embarasse**** hangs head in shame ****:embarasse“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. I make little splurges now and again but my justification i never ever spend on credit cards anymore, however the little splurges can add up, but i have paid two loans off early in the last few months so i cant be too mean on myself but i need to be a bit more careful with lavish spends ..... il allow you that pepsi your in budget and you will work it back somehow.... ohs bonus potentially will save us 347.69 of negative wealth payments meaning we could reduce our negative wealth freedom date by 6-7 months so fingers crossed
