  • Happy its so annoying. I have done calculations now as well. Minus my expenditures for "essentials"..the planned CC spend this month on skincare, my monthly donations too tithing and my pledged £150 for the month's expenditures I have precisely £390. This is NO-WHERE near the £1000 that I wanted to put aside. I am so annoyed it's unreal .. but there is nothing I can do...

Like Abundant comments on now and then I won't let myself get depressed over something I cannot control. I asked and they would not send it through as an "emergency payment" so I have to deal with and get on with life. I have a refund of £5 coming to me tomorrow.. this make me happy at least.

So the main reason for me being a little more annoyed about not having OT than usual ( as my living expenses don't really need it ) is that I wanted to buy my Australian passport this month. I spent last night with my lovely friend who has just returned from 15 months over there. He is so depressed being back here that he is planning to leave again in 6 months. I might stop this from happening if I can...:p

I have a dual nationality. My mother grew up in Oz and registered my birth so I have the right to hold two passports. Now, with no ties to this country is the best time to do it. I have sold everything too heavy and can sell everything else before I go. This will include my motorbike. It would break my heart but I think this is something I need to do before I "settle down".. and it would be a real shame to not go whilst single and waste the passport opportunities. I just wish I had done it sooner.

So this is added incentive to get this debt GONE. I am cancelling everything that I was considering doing this year.. Vintage Fairs... Serbia with my family etc... these are now absolute no-go's. I need to have at least £5000 saved up before I go.... this won't be until 2014 but I need to start getting this sorted now.

I went to Oz when I was a child.. I dream of getting to Sydney in a submarine..? I dream of hearing the cicadas making their noise in the early morning.. I dream of the street my mother grew up on... I dream of meeting the cousin who is 18 years old that I have never met...

But I must clear this debt first.. My friend had to have £600 a month in his account every month to cover his debt. We had a little chat about his remaining £7000 and how it could be cleared... I am going to look into reclaiming PPI for him.. I can't go over there with debt...

So I am after new ways of making money..:rotfl:

I will keep you posted on this one. With a passport and "unfettered rights to entry into Australia" I can pick up any job going... and you know kittens I am capable of doing anything...

  • I didn't desert you!! I deserted all of MSE :rotfl:

Life is complicated and expensive and stressful right now. How do you people do this working 5/6/7 days per week?! I find myself with not enough time to even get the laptop out even when I am working 3 days.

I have to get back to work. I'd say that I will come online and update you all later, but I have two episodes of Revenge to watch as we haven't found the time & we also have Ultimate Fighter downloaded and ready to go.

Hugs KittyKat, I will be back.. soon. Promise!!

  • Good Morning to all.. I am not so impressed with my wage this month. Today is payday and after all deductions I have a precise £241 to my name.:( This is taking £102 on the CC for beauty products last week that I transferred an hour ago.. However.. I am even more determined when the chips are down. You may notice my signature has taken into account a miscalculation on my part regarding my student loan dropping it further than I realized.. I am not holding my breath though in case this goes right back up again.

I had assumed the figure I was given in September, from which I have been deducting each monthly sum as it appeared on my pay slip including deductions from April - September. On their website it said I could actually enter what I was charged in these months.. SO my amount reduced significantly indicating I could be rid of it by June... pouring more money into the land loan...

    So as it stands..

    • Land = £8116.32:mad:
    • Bike = £1579.19:mad:
    • Student Loan = £809.88:mad:
I have calculated what I am due to get next month which is this December and January's overtime on top of each other and I stand to be able to put away at least £1192. if I can add another £900 on that for April's pay I should be okay to pay for my holiday and move house in May. However as you know I can't put ANYTHING towards my debts at all bar what is already being paid. I might scrimp on my holidays and at least put £300 towards my bike loan which I want rid of ASAP.

So eBay is now my best friend. I earned myself a whopping £5 last night on the sale of two stuffed toys and have another 4 products ending tomorrow and a dress ending 4 days after that. Hopefully at the base rate I stand to earn £90 as I believe one item won't sell...£95 in one week is okay right? I am aiming for a further £300 this month and will change my signature to reflect this shortly....:D

Overtime is booked and guaranteed for this Sunday and the following Saturday. This works out at least 15 hour double time. I have applied for 3 more shifts this month and am awaiting confirmation. :T:T:T

Right enough of this twaddle. I am off to make a ruthless eBay list, shame I am usually to sick or tired to load them up on a regular basis... Grr!

Onwards and Upwards..( I will succeed, I will win, I am determined and a little nuts )

  • Good evening everyone! I have just been having a little catch up as I have been busy recently.

I had some good news last night, I have been accepted on 25month 0% cc so I have transferred all cc's to it - as soon as I get confirmation of the balances transferred and closed the old three down, i will update sig accordingly.

I'm quite chuffed about moving all my debt to once place, it keeps my OCD at bay! lol

NSK...ebay too is my best friend at the moment, I sold some tat the other week and put the proceeds on one of the cards and I have a load more stuff ending next week...

Good luck with everything all and have a great weekend.
