    Peekaboo Peaty-pie ;)

New Year was a quiet end to a fabulous year, thanks. Hope yours was good & not too messy? :D

Thanks everyone - Happy, Mumsie, Siouxsie, Abundant - for your kind words about the littlun. I'm very proud ;)

I'm sat here, circling dates on my diary showing when I am at work so that on any page I can glance at that month. I've also put in birthdays & reminders for birthdays & also paydays/tax credits days etc. I have at least started to be a much more organised person since September :D

Hope you all have a good evening!!

Well now good evening to you all :). Hope miss kat's behaving herself on this fine evening!!

Fab news on getting rid of Virgin Happy, that's great. I paid mine off last month but haven't cancelled it yet. I was going to keep it as my one and only card for emergencies. It has a low credit limit and I'd feel better having some form of card for various things. For example, the credit card protection you get when you buy goods over £100, or if I ever have to rent a car. I completely trust myself not to run up a balance on it so feel secure, rather than tempted in keeping it on. As all my other cards get paid off, they'll get cancelled.

Talking of paying off, I looked at a post I made on 7 October 2012 (post 53 on this very thread) and my total debt that day was £32,192.09. Today, it's £29,005.38 :j that's over £3k in 3 months so if that carries on over the rest of 2013, I'll smash this target in September/October and hopefully have my total debt down to £17k by the start of 2014 :D. How exciting!!!

I don't know what I was blathering about earlier when I said I was picking up my laptop this evening. It's been in getting fixed and the computer guy called yesterday to say he'd have to do a complete reset. That's why I went in tonight-to give my external hard drive to save all the data on it, not to get it back! I think I got overexcited and fast forwarded myself in time. So I shall plod on with my tablet (and no spreadsheet fun!) til it comes back. Then the drama will begin. I'm so untechy, I fear pain when I have to reinstall everything.

Back to work for me tomorrow :)

Ha ha, just looked at my total debt and since it was just above the £29k mark, I 'borrowed' £10 from eBay sales yet to end and paid it to my Capital One Visa. So now my total stands at £28,995.28, which somehow seems closer to £0 :D
