Oh it will be fantastic! How amazing to suddenly get paid and think right I am going to save X amount or actually we are going to book a holiday this month and have money ready for it!!! I can't blooming wait.
One little treat I have decided on when we are debt free is to have a pub lunch once a month with the kids

Do you know what Kel, i'm with you there. We have some really lovely country pubs in walking distance from us but just don't have the spare cash to pop in and have a nice meal. I will though....watch this space ;-) xx0 -
Another week begins and I need to be healthier. Since being ill with chest infection some time ago i've not really been right. Still have cough, which seems to be coming back more in recent days. Can't shift this cold I have and generally feel a bit run down and have done for weeks now.
I've stocked up on vits and the usual immune boosting products so hopefully they'll kick in this week and see me fighting fit again. Horrible not feeling 100% for such a long time. But on the bright side i'm nowhere near as bad as I was so that's got to be something, right?!
Spent some of the weekend at the inlaws helping them de-clutter their loft as they are having it insulated. Hubby has lot of old stuff that we can sell - well actually we're waiting for star wars collector type person to get back to us. Seems my hubby was a strange one when little and kept all the boxes for his figures and some were even unopened - bonus! We think we should be able to get at least £100 for them all if not more which is fab! This will be put towards something nice, not the debts but it's still extra money we didn't have.
Speaking of money, hubby and I need to sit down after Nov payday (15th) and work out of finances. For some reason lately we always seem short and are not normally. Hubby also gone into his overdraft so we need to re-look at things and see where it's going wrong.
Nothing else exciting in choc land. Need to get organised and start putting thoughts/plans into action. Easier said than done though when you have no energy

Sorry your feeling rubbish there is nothing worse. You are doing a great job with finances :-) me and oh are drawing cash our rather than spending on card and its stopped silly spending etc however it is only early days in November lol but so far so good. I love my spreadsheet :-) I love to know what's going on, I too will enjoy the spontaneous option to have lunch at a pub and not worry which negative wealth should be overpaid :-). Oh Choc I hope you feel better soon.
It makes everything feel like such a chore when you are under the weather.
Just remind yourself you are doing so well.
I hope you manage to sort the finances out to discover why hubbys money is running low. Thinking of you xxxOrange Fairy

Thanks ladies. Woken up with less of a cold and more of the coughing. Hopefully I can shift this without any more meds from docs. Be rattling at this rate!
Sent hubby off to work with a shopping list armed with lots of healthy foods to get me back on track and also hopefully to lose a few lbs that seems to have added themselves to me. How dare they!!
Money is going to be tight until payday next week. We have one night out which is this Saturday with friends but other than that nothing major. November will be tight too as i'm clearing the remaining balance of debt so that's £500 I wouldn't normally pay out. Still at least it'll be gone and that's the plan to stick to.
Nothing planned today except work and a long one at that. Got to be done though.
Have a good day xx0 -
I hope your long day working wasn't too tedious
Good luck with your tight months! I find that impossible in nov and dec!!!Orange Fairy

Morning!
Well back to the doctors today for me. Spent most of the night up either coughing or being sick. I think the sick bit was basically because of all that coughing. I'm so fed up of it now, it's been 2 months of being ill at various levels and no matter what I do I can't seem to shift it
On money front bit of a bonus in that I have overtime available both sat and sun which I am going to take. Means with other overtime I should have at least an extra £300 in my December pay. Hopefully more but depends on payroll cut off dates so we shall see. I'm really pleased as that'll help immensely with the cost of christmas.
Also my dad gave me £30 as a treat so that'll now see me though to payday without worrying so much. Next month will be tight but if I can be super good with the nsd's throughout then I should find it ok. We have quite a bit of food in so fingers crossed.
