Came on to read the thread about 20 minutes ago and absentmindedly put a boiled sweet in my mouth!
    Crunch!
I lost a filling - the dentist is not open till Tuesday and I think my dentist may be away on holiday.
It is not painful but the rough edge is annoying me - and i am anoyed at myself for being so daft.
    More hassle.

DD(18) is back from school trip -has unpacked ,had a home cooked meal and relaxing with her sisters in front of a dvd while I browse on here.

Made cauli cheese wih new potatoes and asparagus for me and DH. Made sausages in gravy with mash and asparagus for DDs.

Hugs to all and have a nice Easter.:icotbaske :EasterBun

Hi Elona - you should be eating chocolate by now - it's Easter! Seriously, though, if your tooth does start to hurt, ring NHS Direct - 0845 46 47. There should be an emergency dental helpline for out-of-hours emergencies for people who can't get hold of their own dentists! If you can wait until your dentist opens on Tuesday just enjoy the rest of the weekend on chocolate only!

    Sorry about the tooth Elona!

All kids have gone home leaving only deveatation and a trail of mud in their wake. Girls are high on sugar after a birthday party and OH is drivning me nuts on the first day off:rolleyes:

What is it about men and fire? He bought me a chimnea as a present and has spent the day climbing the cliff and chopping logs to feed it. It's a raging inferno at the moment and he is standing there with arms folded grinning like a man possessed. i'd swear I heard him mutter "Me big man. me made fire." I think he'd spit roast a pig on it if he could. :rotfl:

PS Kyle I really hope you get some rest soon. There is nothing harder than sleep deprivation. Except perhaps trying to stop a grown man set fire to himself with a chimnea.

Thanks for the tip - like the idea of subsisting on chocolate!

Meant to share something that made me smile - DD is complaining that her navy tights for school have lightened in the wash and make her "look like a Smurf!"

Have just dyed several pairs navy blue in the machine so will see how they turn out.

Going to load the dishwasher and then browse a bit more.

Groatie Queen & lil_me, thanks for sharing your memories of the ducklings, partridges and stubborn horse :rotfl: loved that one! Wild and not-so-wild life really does need all the help it can get.

Elona, I hope your tooth doesn't give you problems before you can see a dentist.

The fluffy five are safe and well and are are now tucked under Mum for the night (sort of, they keep escaping when they think Dad might have something for them to eat). Dad appears to be very proud of littlest one for the mega-dive this afternoon and made special efforts to be sure the larger siblings did not take it's food. For anyone interested there are pictures of the chicks HERE

Managed to get the irises and a few other plants in, put up the trellis for the honeysuckle I've planted between my living room and bedroom doors, that was a sod as it had to be sawn to tuck round a drain pipe, saws and me don't get on very well, pass the plasters please someone :o

I decided to wait until dark to do the cleaning, it's been way to nice to be indoors. Better get a move on though, I'm heading off tomorrow for the rest of the weekend and I've not even thought about packing yet
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

I have learned my lesson when it comes to stubborn animals. A friend hit a Deer and it wrote off her car, someone DP worked with decided to drive towards a sheep as it wasn't moving, startled it and it ran over his van causing £1000s in damage. Best leave the stubborn ones to get out of the way! Not just for the animals sake but your car/life too. The horse is unfortunately a common one, from what I have been told the field is shared ownership, everyone who owns a bit thinks others will repair the fence, so it gets left and they 'leg it' on a regular basis but the horses have no fear at all of the cars living near the road and will park themselves on the road to scoff the grass on the other side.

*Passes Racy Red some plasters and a hug for the injuries, I'm the same DIY disaster when it comes to personal injuries* Also thanks for posting the piccys, how fab are they! Just bought some of those irises myself for the pond, cost me a flippin' fortune! Hope they flower, I'm a disaster with plants usually.

Thanks button - when don't I have an issue with it!!!

Well went to put DS2s duvet cover on and there was a tiddle smell so he's got our winter one for tonight which I had packed away, washing his tomorrow. Fingers crossed can dry it outside.

Meal plans later this week been switched about some what, DP doing extra hours at work with being Bank Holiday weekend. He wants Omlette before work tomorrow which is fine by me, easy peasy. Trying to run the freezer down but seems to be lasting ages. Shouldn't complain but what we have left is many of the same types of things and I am getting a little bored :o

Right off for a nosey on the tinternet, ttfn :)
