Good luck with Christmas, I know what it's like to not enjoy Christmas, I've had enough miserable ones to know what they feel like.
I'm sure there'll be plenty of support on here closer to 25/12 to get everyone's spirits up who might be feeling down over the festive season
I can beat that - mine would just eat cheesestrings.
Once called me 19 times at work while i was in a meeting...got called out of said meeting for an "emergency"....
Turned out the emergency was that there was "nothing to eat"....
The fridge was full, and so was the freezer...
Turned out he had basically run out of cheese strings and sausage rolls....
God forbid he should have to actuall cook something....Total Debt: was £8,400 / now £0

Wow that's worse than mine (pork chops, carrots and roast potatoes).
Of course, behind our lightheartedness is the knowledge that this behaviour is more often than not abusive, and it's not always obvious while we're in these relationships (I had a VERY good friend who explained to me what was actually happening, I'll always be grateful to her)
It's part of the reason why I do love being single now - I can do what I want without someone breathing down my neck, criticising me, and controlling me.
In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work0 -
I've just eaten ready noodles. I am doing the IF Diet, wanting to get thin for when the potential bloke sees me next!:rotfl:
Tomorrow is a non-fast day, and I can't wait for poached eggs for breakfast.

Enjoyed reading the tread .
As most say i got into my troubles and debt in my twenties and it slowly got out off control it lead to my debts being £25000.00 4 years ago i then contacted moneyworries which was a mistake went with them to set up my dmp at this stage i was paying this and stupidly took out few payday loans which brought it up to 29000.00.
Thankfully this all changed and i got a grip off things contacted payplan just over 3 years ago i pay quite a lot back each month and im now down to under 12000.00 remaining and should have it cleared in two years.
I blame no one but myself by being stupid and reckless some friends cant understand why i dont want to go out with anyone at the moment im more focused clearing this .
Been single for 4 years enjoying it my ex girlfriend didnt know about the extent off my debt but quickly ran when she realised i wouldn't be as generous.
In this time i have managed to go to new york go to England few times , Scotland and plan my social life round a few gigs and sporting events i go to each year.
Will continue to read thread with interest goodluck everyone .Lbm Spoke to Payplan August 2009 £29000.00
current balance £0.00
