We have one in the Utility room and that has a large capacity, that always fills pretty quickly. I feed the water to the plants. Ours came from B and Q and it wasnt that bad, its about 3 yrs old now! They start from around £50 from there. And if it doesnt work or it breaks down in the first year you can take it back.Has anyone seen my last marble:A:A:A:A

I am thinking of getting one ... which make and model did you go for, if you don't mind me asking?
TIA!
Mine is a H0mebase one and I think it was around £70 - not cheap but definately worth the money.
I would be happy to spend the same again for one upstairs.
Mine took another 1.5 litres from the kitchen just today!
I also use the water for my plants0 -
We are due frost tonight, so I've turned the thermostat down to 15 but will leave the heating on. MIL has sorted my curtains for the kitchen this week, can't wait, kitchen is always cold on a night. I have a huge pole, and matching thermal curtains and door curtain to cover that entire external wall.
I think we are sorted here now, even had some veg soup on the go this aft, and DD (who is two) has got my feathery socks on pulled up over her pjs right above her knees lol.
And we are all cuddled up in bed watching Harry Potter...Bossymoo

Just a few small things got done today.
I went into Primarni and got three pairs of the cosy socks which are brill for me for using in my wellies and boots. I got a bobble style pair, but on getting home they are no where near as good as the really fleecy ones - might be useful info to someone if buying them.
Went to Wilkos and got a cooker hood filter and replaced that when I got home. Also bought the fleece shoe liners. I use those in a pair of Next slippers I bought last year. The slippers haven't worn out at all but the inner sole has, so for 95p it was worth replacing the inner sole - feels like brand new now.
Got some washing out on the line don't know if it will dry or not but have a feeling I won't get my washing out to dry much after this.
Still got the roses in the back garden to cut back. The leaves are really coming down now. May get a final lawn cut in next week - I'll have to see though. Oh windows will need a good clean as well. Shall see when I can fit that in as I am back at work next week!!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Maybe each one of us should share our prepare for winter lists with any elderly folks, neighbours etc. Or donate any spare fleeces etc.

I went to Lidls to get dd some of the wellies they've got in but couldnt find her size, but they had child sized 14? That was the uk size on too - am I being stupid or something, I thought sizes went to 13 and then a 1?
So, anyway, I didnt want to take the risk so stopped looking ncase they had some strange sizeing thing going on.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

Just washing/freshening up a few scarves. The coat turned out well yesterday - it has a feather/down filling (only from Peacocks store) but I was worried it wouldn't wash ok. Big relief.
I have a spare UHT milk which I'll give to my neighbour later :A
Still have lots to do but it's moving forwards :TDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
