    If you need to contact CCS by phone try this number 0800 8202160 as I have just spoken to them. They want the money I was sent through the charge back from me, and even though my credit card company have assured me that they are able to use the charge back to return their money they are having none of it and want me to send them a cheque.

  • Dear All - I've just had a call from CCS about how I could save money on my mortgage as it was mis-sold to me, however when I asked the young welsh man which piece of legislation he was referring to that had recently changed allowing me to claim he hung up....funny that.....

    Can anyone tell me if CCS Review in Swansea and CCS Review in Poole are one and the same?

    I have had a phone call from the one in Poole, and they are adament they are not related, and are a legit company. Again directing me to all their registered company details on the Justice website etc and saying I am protected by my credit card company should they fail to deliver on their claim that I am due a refund.
    They are adamant that if they were a scam then they would have been shut down long ago, and have been trading since 2007 (i think).

    Has anyone actually had any success with this company? Here is a link to their website...

    This is known as advanced fee fraud.

    I am adamant that if the Claims Regulator was remotely competent they would have been shut down long ago.

    If you wish to throw several hundred pounds away please can I have it?

    No I had/have no intention of giving them penny of my money. As soon as paying up front was mentioned I said no....and came on here.

    I did receive a phone call back from them, and the caller got quite shirty about it when I said I wasn't giving them my money for what was essentially a scam... They even went as far to say that this website was not referring to them, and other similar named companies re giving them a bad name. Told them to take that up with their management if that was the case....

    it scares me that people who are not so careful and are drawn in by the promise of big bucks (mine was over 25k figure!) Are taken in by these people... Have their workers got no consciences?!

    To be honest I just wanted to tease them with the fact that I've actually got their money and that I'm making them wait like they made me wait. They can use the credit card charge back up until the 25th November so I'm taking no chances in sending the requested cheque before then as I could imagine them doing the same to me.
  • I would be tempted to invoice them for your time in resolving the matter and deduct it from the payment.
  • I've just had CCS Review on the phone threatening me with a CCJ if I don't return their money. They knew what I was going to say as they have read my previous comments on this site. I've have NEVER said that I wouldn't return their money and that I would send it after the 25th, but hey it's the 21st today so why the threats??
  • I am in absolute bits!! I have been 100% a fool for believing this company could help me reduce my credit card debt. I was desperate and although I did think at the time when they called me over a year ago now, that it was too good to be true, I still went ahead and paid them almost £4000. It has only been the last month or so that I have started to get really nervous as wasn't able to get hold o f them despite leaving countless messages on answering machine and via email. Today I came on this site for first time and what do I read??? I am feeling sick to my stomach for being so stupid and I don't know what to do. I am struggling to pay my enormous debt off, I want my money back from these people whom for the last year have been promising me that and more. Please please can someone honest and decent help me to help myself out of this absolute mess I am in? Please......
