Too easy, better to have your PA/Secretary/Butler/Nanny whoever do it for you, then you can blame them for going to the wrong place, getting a parking ticket etc.

    Right. That's my reply.

    Karen,

    Thanks for your lovely email.

Can I send the children's nanny around with the cash?

    Are you local?

One's a closed the question. The other more conversational but I take your point.

    I expect a swift response.
  • In an unstamped envelope marked 'payment enclosed':

    Dear ControlAccountPLC,

Enclosed are my previous correspondances from EuroCarParks, and a sachet of KY jelly.

I trust that no further instructions are necessary.

    Dear Karen,
Like many people, I fear that you have mistaken Parking Charge Notices for real PCNs. I suggest you have a look at these links to educate yourself as you never know when you may get a fake PCN yourself:

Hope that helps so that you don't waste your time and mine over this scam. Any questions, do post as a newbie on MSE forums, where your current email is being discussed right now. It's your 15 minutes of fame:

i would stop phoning if I were you as this is now reaching harassment levels.

    kind regards,

    Dear Karen,

I'm sorry, but it would appear that I have narcolepsy, for I must have slept through the bit where a county court judge confirmed to both of us in court that these tickets were real debts, rather than the alleged civil disputes they actually are.

Let me know the date(s) when this happened by return.

    Yours,

    Print name and don't sign.

Oh, and on the unstamped envelope you should actually write 'check enclosed'. They will immediately think there's a cheque inside rather than you simply instructing them to make sure the contents are all OK.
