Does anyone here own a food slicer? I've been thinking about getting one for a while, with the idea that I could boil my own hams etc then slice for sandwiches, getting more economical slices than I get with an ordinary knife. They seem to be available from about £35, does anyone have any thoughts or feedback?
Do you know what I've been having the exact thoughts over whether to get an electric carving knife:cool:I had one for years then I lost a blade somehow:oand now have somehow convinced myself that after 8 years of not having one I need one:rotfl:but do I?Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Just got apgs in and I could have sworn I checked a few days ago that Aussie dual personality mousse worked, but it didn't:(. Lost out on that and the battenburg cake I bought too. Should have been capped at £15 but got me a tenner. Ah well, lets see what happens tomorrow. Might be new items to buy.
It's all A fault you know, they have only just got that mousse in, since their move around, never stocked it before. I was blinded by the extra choice and new locations. Maybe that's their secret weapon to combat the glitch!:rotfl::rotfl:
It's only a game

Sorry it was a while ago so I don't have a link but it was on a thread: breadmakers are they worth it, or along those lines.
I am sure if you post on oldstyle they will be able to help.

Now breadmakers are a whole different story, worth their weight in gold in my opinion;)I go through phases of using mine but it's probably my favourite kitchen gadget:TBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I dont understand why so many people get this wrong. They buy the correct items but fail to get the right amount.0 -

I can't believe how often I have logged on lately to find a forum filled with moaning, and whining and adults essentially picking on each other. I am a teacher and find the children I teach, who are 5 years old, more mature than some people on here. It is depressing to read this thread now and I am now going to stop reading and close my account.
At the end of the day can't you just be kind to each other, you only live once, why fill your days with angst and stress over a forum. Leave each person to make savings, live life how they want and waste no more time being unkind. Celebrate the amazing glitches you have found and the savings you have made.
Bye, and thanks for the savings I have made over the last few months.
Whilst I agree with the main thrust of your post, why can't people discuss issues and offer differing opinions?
I've seen a few people on here say they are going away to lurk again etc because of posts of people expressing different views. I don't really understand them. Life is full of different opinions. By offering yours and listening to others you might learn something.
Either you are so opinionated you can't stomach other peoples different views or you are so repressed you can't express your own. Either way you don't have to get involved - just skip past those that you don't like and respond to the ones you do if it upsets you that much to read other peoples opinions.
'Im a teacher' So yes your 5 year olds probably have to sit still and do as they are told and not answer back. Says it all really. This clearly isn't the place for you.... Bye bye.If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
I found this interesting..
@It's fraud, or at least obtaining a pecuniary advantage through
deception.
When you claim you agree to their terms and conditions.
Using other peoples vouchers are against the rules. Using more
than the set limit is against the rules. Lying about your identity is against the rules.
This was fraud and when Asda trace it back the people involved
will have the book thrown at them due to the level of planning and intent
involved.
People could actually see prison time over this
Any truth over this?
Technically it may have some truth but they would first have to want to make a case, and generally speaking prosecuting customers is not great publicity. I would be rather surprised if it would be regarded as a reasonable use of police or court time unless someone made a really significant gain, by more than just by working the system.I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!0 -
