Am feeling a bit anti men at the moment - the majority of them seem to be so selfish and immature that I just can't be ar*ed with them. Have decided to stay on my own for the foreseeable - just me and the woofer are happy as we are.
Maybe the older and wiser I get the less inclined I am to mollycoddle and massage a man's ego and pander to them.
The stress free life of being single is the way forward for me - just can't be bothered with it all. And nothing has really happened, just sitting round waiting for the phone to ring or making plans seems to be a waste of energy. Bum to it all!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Same here! :rotfl:

Celler started to fill up with flood water this afternoon - thankfully I was back home early and could move as much as possible out of there so hopefully not too much gets ruined like last time in the summer. The ground is totally saturated which is the cause as its rained and rained and rained and rained here  still not too bad compared to other places and people

I will join in as well please, I am watching what I eat, down to 81kilo just over 12st 7lb ,which is a loss of just under 4st in a year,

I make myself go on the wii in a morning, do all the yoga except the one on 1 leg with the other up behind you,:rotfl: and I am adding muscle workouts in 1 at a time slowly, it all takes about an hour with the body test.

When weather is good enough I go with neighbour walking her dog round field say 30 mins, but we only amble,
Do I need it or just want it.

And walking with the dog does count - its better than sitting on your bum on the sofa!

  • WW - im in with the push. i'm hoping i can hit my two stone loss by xmas. i'm 5 pounds away atm. going to rejoin the gym soon too, it finally reopens in about a week i think! going to try and back to my minimum 1 run per week routine.
  • Oh my fedupandskint I hope the rain lets up!

pamsdish and evilsquid that's an impressive weight loss. Did you follow a specific eating pattern?

LL well done on your decluttering. It's such a good feeling to get rid of stuff. Each car bootfull you get rid of is one less to move with :)

WW you've inspired us to move our butts. I will start small this week and make sure I take a 15 min walk with the dog. I've not been up to taking them out, hubby is the dog's best friend. Then I'll build this up to say 20 mins or 2 x 15 mins. All gradual as I'm weak as a kitten.

:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

  • Hello,

WW I'm in - need to get motivated to get off my bum!

pamsdish - the yoga sounds intriguing. What's the name of the wii cd? Would you recommend it? Mega congrats on your weight loss!

LL - I hop everything works out with the new place - fingers crossed!

I had a CRAZY weekend rushing around trying to sort out various things for a party. Now I'm absolutely shattered and would like to spend the week sleeping :o

I've recently re-discovered baths. I'd developed a habit of having a very efficient shower and at the weekend I had a properly luxurious soak in the bath...what a difference! I'm going to have a bath every weekend now, just for the bubbles! :rotfl:

Also, I've been sorting out my skincare routine and for now I'm using bio oil and doing a mini face massage when I put it on.

    Take care! x
Not buying any more 1.)books 2.)toiletries, esp. LUSH! 3.)stationery, unless absolutely necessary!

cherryprint - agree on the baths, I do love a nice soak every now and again :)

I think I'm coming down with something, achey muscles, headache, faint and weak so I am going to take care of myself with lots of hot tea today :)

Mineallmine, I just did basic calorie counting, not a rigid amount, Just be aware of what you actually doeat

Cherryprint, Its just the basic disc that came with it ,its enough for me with my back condition. I will say though that I do not get as much pain when I exercise, proves a point really.

I don`t have a bath ,I do occasionally fancy a soak, but when I went to my friends, she does not have a shower, I could not get out, I had to empty the water and get to my knees, and literally crawl out.I slipped a couple of times

  • Morning all,

Had feeling fab, had a rubbish night's sleep due to neighbours arguing in early hours I nearly called the police!

Called into a meeting in work first thing, we are all Redundant as company being wound up by the revenue. So feeling stressed, have a headache etc etc. I believe everything happens for a reason and I'm willing to turn my hand to anything work wise but just feeling numb at mo :(.

Still in work as paid till end of week, its hard and I don't want to be here.

    EH xx
