Morning All,
Cold and grey here with promise of rain, need to go out to get petrol, food shop and gym so might as well do all at once to save time and hassle.
Curlytop - my legs did recover though after the gym class today I might be regretting it!
Work's a bit worrying at moment, paid us a week earlier (this never happens) and lot of secretative phone calls and meetings. Time will tell I suppose.
Time to get off sofa and get on with the day!

Hi just a quick more positive post, mum is alot better she is still in hosp and will remain there until the care package is sorted so we are hoping that will be the middle of the week. She still can't use her right side, but she is talking more and has colour back in her face and a sparkle in her eyes.
The docs think the radiotherapy put too much pressure on her and as she only had one session left they have now stopped it.
We are having a quiet day today, catching up and eating and drinking properly, watching crap tv and doing a bit of internet shopping and surfing.
My brother and his family (god help the hosp, his children are nuts) are visiting mum today and dad's caught a lift with them.
I can't thank you all enough for your lovely posts and messages you are all great.

Good morning ladies!
I had a very quiet day yesterday pottering at home - bit of baking banana muffins to use up some frozen old ones, bit of cleaning, bit of dog walking, bit of frustation at feeling muscles seizing up and stiffening. Did 20mins of yoga as could stand it no longer the feeling of inactivity of all those weeks. Glad I did, felt so much better afterwards and will be doing some more today.
Also had a go at rebatching soap into a new flavoured batch of milk and honey - about to see today how this turned out, not the easiest thing to do but hey got there in the end and will be slicing it up into presents next week.
Today I will be doing a little gentle exercise, hair treatment, face mask and exfoliate, ironing and parcelling up ebay sales to post and listing a few more this afternoon. Not all at the same time I might add!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hewie - glad to see your mum has perked up a bit - let's hope she stays as well as can be for as long as possible.
Well yesterday I felt awful - the headache from hell. Whilst technically it was "just a headache" and not a migraine it ruined my day. I didn't even manage to visit OH. Thank goodness it's lifted now.
So it's ironing in a minute, prepare a nice casserole for dinner tonight and visit OH later.
Next week the great declutter begins - I'm going to be absolutely ruthless. I have more or less decided I will take the house I fancied most. Although it's a bit dearer than I would have liked it is nice, quite spacious and comfortable.
It has three bedrooms instead of the four we currently have, a decent sized through lounge/diner, a good kitchen, a garage and a shed for storage and even a little greenhouse:D. The back garden faces south so it will be nice and sunny (hopefully).
It's freshly decorated in creams with beige carpets so nice and neutral. There is plenty of parking so the rent is fair. I have been cheeky and asked for a bit of discount - well you have to try.
If not I think I will still take it anyway. It's a bit further to drive to see OH, although we are still looking at moving him anyway. It's much closer to DS2's work, and nearer to my parents and my sister and a couple of my close friends, so I think it should work well.
I'm a little nervous - this is the sort of thing I should be doing with OH - a nice little adventure. However I'm lucky to have my boys and my sister to help and support me, so it's not all bad.
Right time to get cracking. I'm as stiff as a board this morning, so will try some yoga in a bit.
I've already starting thinking about my new year plans. After the house move I will definitely concentrate on my body. My lack of fitness is really quite shocking. I definitely need to take myself in hand:o0 -
House sounds lovely - LL - and also being ruthless is always a good idea with decluttering which is the point I'm at now too!
I took the dog on his slightly longer weekend walk this morning as the rain had stopped and looked at the mildly flooded streets and parks but nowhere as bad as elsewhere. Then decided to do some exercise on my return and did some cardio kick boxing. Could certainly feel the drop in fitness but managed most of it and I feel very pleased with getting through it after being sat down for 7 weeks!
Have also pretreated hair and hair masked. Will fab up nails later with nail hardener treatment and cuticle treatment and hand cream
Also doing another steamed pud for tea with custard and some kind of spiced quorn and cous cous before hand.
What else? Oh yes, I am pleased to report that at long long last I have used up a toner which almost closes the door on my previous skincare addiction from shopping tv. Only a little bit of cleanser left and then the final cleanse and polish to use up and the door is practically shut on that previous life. Using up that toner was a big achievement from where I was 3yrs ago when I bought and bought and bought and stocked up and up and up way beyond my means. The journey continues!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hewie- glad your mum is a bit brighter.
LL - sounds like you'll be busy. Hope it all works out for you.
Well the eating's gone a bit off the scale today, still had my fast days but the eating yesterday was a bit too chocoalte basedand I had a couple of brandies last night.
Still really busy and also realised what with decorating I've not done as much as I would have liked towards xmas so am really going to have to give myself a kick up the bum and get sorted.
Oh and my hair desperately needs dyeing. Ther simply doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day for all the things I need to do atm. I am however making a bit of me time even if it is an hour of sh*t tv.
Weather's a bit brighter here there's actually sunshine for a change.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

When did Sunday stop being the day of rest?
This is the fist time I've sat down all day. Ferrying kids to swimming, picking up half a tonne of leaves, walking dog, cooking dinner.....
Second fast day went well today, managed a low cal lunch and a carb free dinner.
Lizzie glad you're still going to make some time for yourself x
Sparkles well done on using up the last of the toner
LL good luck with renting the new placeI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
