Happy Birthday PP
:bdaycake:
Hi Skymist - long time no see. Hope you are ok.
Well Top to Toe - Part I - had my hair cut today in short bob, and a nice colour on - looks better already.
Beautiful day - will visit OH later, so quick wizz round then will set off early so can pop in the garden centre on the way.
Have a lovely day.0 -
Nothing to report other than endless decorating and sorting out stuff, made the effort to dress nice today and had a couple of compliments so that's good.
Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to PP, have a fantastic birthday and mid-week weekend

Hope you're having really good day pod!
I've been to have my eyebrows done and also had my nails painted professionally this morning so feeling quite glam. I'm out to a charity dinner tonight and then the first of the weddings on Saturday so need to look my best.
Well done on the hairdo LL, mine's in a shortish bob at the moment too. When it's properly blow dried think Mary Portas but not quite as graduated or orange!
Did a bit of recycling to the CS/bin yesterday. I was checking I had suitably tidy tights for Saturday so took the opportunity to sort out my underwear drawers and a few others. Also had a good tidy of the bathroom cupboards. Sorted through all the toiletries and make up. I'm just going to have to buy some conditioner soon, I've got plenty of everything else. I generally use John Frieda (blonde stuff) but am always drawn to the 3 for £10 offers as best value and I really don't need 3 as I'm supposed to be using stuff up. Any recommendations?
Ghastly, wet day here today. I hope it's better for the rest of you!:)0 -
Best birthday wishes pod - have a great day
As for me, did first day of no more trouble zones tonight for a quite long hour. First one out of the way and this will be a good one to fit in alongside cardio over the next few weeks

Happy birthday from me too Pod! xx
Another busy day - work work work at the moment.
One sneaky little weigh this morning and its all looking better for the official one on Friday - all the cleaning must have done some good:)
Not much else to report - just a normal Tuesday.......0 -
Happy birthday PP! Hope you're having a wonderful time.
Maman - conditioner recommendations from me are Herbal Essences, Pantene or Tresemme. I guess it depends on your hair type - I have quite fine hair (but loads of it) and find conditioner that is fairly thick in consistency is the only kind that will work on my hair. Not buying any more 1.)books 2.)toiletries, esp. LUSH! 3.)stationery, unless absolutely necessary!0 -

Happy Birthday, PP!
Didn't manage to log on yesterday as had a bit of a stressy day due to a non-sleeping toddler who has given us three broken nights in a row plus wouldn't go to bed until 10pm yesterday so no free evening time. The tiredness and stress meant that I binged big time yesterday and also didn't make any effort re lip gloss, perfume etc.
The plus side was I weighed myself yesterday morning and had lost 1lb since the previous week despite still eating a lot of sugary stuff. Of course, that little gremlin in my head is telling me I have probably put it right back on again with yesterday's eating but there we go.
I did also manage the gym yesterday despite being tired and glad I made the effort to go. I'm not going to get to go tomorrow as DH needs to get into work early and I can't leave DS obviously. Maybe over the coming weekend I can see if I can dig out some exercise DVDs or Wii Fit stuff so I can still do something on 'gym days' when I can't actually get to the gym. Only downside is we have a stupidly titchy lounge which doesn't leave much space for such things (usable space with furniture pushed back is maybe 5m long by less than 1m wide in our skinny long room) given furniture that was bought for our previous, bigger house.
Today, not much fabbing either since had a majorly rushed morning and tired due to being up with my son in the night. Managed a squirt of perfume at least though!0 -
Where is everyone? Very quiet today.......
Am I in a parallel universe ?:rotfl:
Been another really long day at work today, another extra after school lesson for some of the keener kids.
Then took the dog for a good hour long walk to stretch his legs and get some fresh air. Feel quite tired now.
I've resolved not to do anything work tonight - the last few nights I've ended up doing 4 or more hours worth and going to bed still thinking about it and then not sleeping. Not tonight! So there!
Going to have a nice bath and watch some telly and have a rest. Might even go mad and do a face mask and scrub.
Going to the local mosque tomorrow night with the Spice lot - the mosque have kindly offered to show us around and give a talk about the practicalities of being a Muslim and what it all means - should be quite interesting, broadening horizons and all that. I'm not in the slightest bit religious but think that its always good to learn about other things.
Right I can smell tea so that means its nearly ready....0
