I was finding this, and eventually decided to go a bit nearer my natural colour, so when the roots do come through, it's not such a badger stripe0 -
Unfortunately my natural colour is dark brown and my hair is now grey/white!:rotfl:0

Right, here are my non-work related mini-goals for this week (Mon-Fri) .....
- 2 runs and 1 long walk (as well as dog walking)
- get hair dyed
- finish library book and start new one
- stick to diet
- get cases back in the loft
- take make up off every night (been slack with this lately)
- this week's little fix-it job is the fridge - needs a good scrub and the water reservoir thingy emptying
- spend no more than £10 between now and Friday

Got the phoniex and antonio jeans deliver from Debs £12 less code in the sale, really pleased with them for the price as they did them in a long leg and I ordered a 14 and 12 of each and I got in the 12 , so Paul Mckenna working well for me. it will be a week tomorrow so think i am going to have a sneaky weigh in.0 -
:wave:just calling by. I've been managing to keep up with the thread but not really felt like posting.
Nothing serious, just a horrid cold someone's been kind enough to give me, feeling very tired and chesty.
Hopefully feel brighter tomorrow. Have a good week all0 -
Good morning one and all
Sorry to hear you are a little under the weather Maman - hope you feel better soon.
Are all those hair dye jobs done yet:rotfl: Mine is getting quite long and I'm not sure what to do about the colour either. I'm waiting for inspiration.:rotfl:
I got a couple of beauty/health books from the library the other day I'll have to look through those and see if I can get some ideas.
Re the primer - I keep looking at it and wondering. Has anyone used it.
In the past I used to use Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and I liked that - it did seem to give a nice healthy glow. In a bid to economise I tried Superdrug's own version. It was highly recommended but I found that it made my skin tingle unpleasantly so I didn't persevere with it.
My skin is super-sensitive so if it tingles or feels a bit hot then I don't use the product.
I'm still struggling to find a good moisturiser - it looks like I'm going to have to go back to Clinique - a tad pricey but if it works then it's better than keep buying stuff that is unsuitable.
Anyway time to start the day - off to see Mum and Dad later, then choir this evening.
Have a good week everyone.
To start us off on the right foot - how about introducing "Magic Monday" . We have to do one thing that makes us feel good.
Anything you like - a glass of wine, a walk in the sunshine, curl up with a magazine - whatever you feel like....
I'm going to raid the garden for some flowers and greenery and fill as many vases as I can. I love flowers.0 -
Morning all,
ww - well done on the weight loss :jliking the mini-goals for the week, might have to start a list.
floss and maman - hope you're feeling a bit better x
Hewie - hope DS is ok, always happens when you have something coming up doesn't it
claire21 - a primer is what you wear under your make-up to apparently make it sit on the skin better/last longer. Never really seen the point personally, always looked to me like just another product for the companies to make money off us with (but perhaps I'm just cynical :rotfl:) Sounds like some good bargins x
LL - will have think about 'magic Monday' sounds like a good idea
I don't seem to have got much done this weekend, has really sped by, kept thinking it was Sat all day yesterdayManaged to get my anthology submission sent in Sat so now onto to the thinking about all the things I did wrong on it and obsessively checking my email box for news :rotfl:Trying not to expect too much from this one as not really my usual style. OH booking train tickets today to go down for his mum's birthday next weekend, I'm struggling to get time off work and we're a bit skint so he's going on his own this time - will be a bit weird having the house to myself for the weekend!

Well I weighed......lost 4 1/2 lbs woop woop woop . In my first week of not dieting, i cant quite believe it!
Re the primer, i hadly ever wear a foundation and if i do just to blend in a couple of patches, not all over, so maybe I have no use for one.
Gone a bit mad on ebay beauty stuff, trying elemis, clarins, clinique. I use to put any old moisturiser on my face and maybe scrub once a week. Need to really find some kind of routine now im in my 40s. Does everyone cleanse, tone and moisturise every day even if you havent had makeup on?0
