Well I've not been shopping. Had my online order arrive on Monday, and we are still going from that with, oddly, plenty in the fridge still. I am off work all next week and toying with the idea of "borrowing" some of the november budget to fill the second freezer (currently switched off) with some batch cooking. Is that allowed? If I promise not to eat any of it this month :rotfl:

No plans to shop this weekend, I too prefer to avoid the crowds. Dunno what we have planned to do, actually...

Hiya, a few spends to report:

    57.62 in L!dl
    27.16 in MrM
    5.00 in Spar

So only got 16.17 left til the end of the month so if I don't go shopping next week I should do it. There is enough food but just got to use my imagination.......IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!

    Have a good evening,

  • I thought i hadn't spent anything this week then I remember the trip to Asda, petrol station etc etc so this weeks spends are

    Total £66.77 / £75

My new £50 starts tomorrow ... I have near enough a full weeks meal plan in the freezer plus I am trying to save a bit to buy some wallpaper :)

Just looking at my note book with my spends I am shocked that I have wasted £9.45 on breakfasts and dinners :(

I am now off in hunt of a meal plan in hope next week won't divert too much off the list!

  • Bought a few more things during the week taking my total to £46.07/100

I need to go food shopping this weekend, plus I also have a friend coming to stay 4 days next weekend so need to get in for both of us. Oddly think it will probably work out about the same for food for two as food for one, as I can buy bigger and get better value.

I have £18 left for the final week of the month.

All shopping done for next week and I will have to try very hard to come in on budget but I am determined that I will

I spent £22 on this week's spends including a £7 overspend so should be ok next weekend - here's hoping so!

Thank you all for your very sensible and helpful views on my voucher dilemma :T.

I have been shopping and I have stocked up on cat food, loo roll, rice, pasta, long life orange and apple juice, baking stuff and a couple of nice mugs to fill with different flavour hot chocolate sachets, marshmallows and chocolate spoons for the kid's Christmas eve goody boxes. Spent just over the required £40 and used my £5 off voucher. Also had an approved foods order and doubled up on super 6 fruit (all our favorites) before it changes on Sunday.

£71 spent in total  but the cupboards, freezer and fruit bowl literally fit to burst and have some lovely goodies in my Christmas food stash and lots of ingredients for batch cooking and freezer filling. Hoping for very little spends between now and the end of the month.

Hope everyone else has had a good week :D
