Bit behind on my receipting, but have £13.99 from a top up shop on Tuesday to add bringing me to £71.83/£200 to date.

Got to get milk and a few lunch bits for tomorrow later, but otherwise hopefully all ok till the weekend then.

I think I shop at the wrong time of day for the YS craziness but some people's behaviour is crazy. Unless you have a specific use for a YS item its not really MSE to spend for the sake of it.

Spent £29.25 in Mr A's today + £10.25 in Mr I's, and then £2.45 in Greggs.
Also went to Nandos for lunch, spent £18.95 in there.
    Total shop - £60.90

Got a lot of good offers and reduced stuff:

    Mr I
2 big bottles of washing up liquid - £1.00
    2 packs of Dairylea - £1.50
    3 ww meals - £3.00

    Mr A
Large meat pasta bake - whoopsied down to £2.46
Small mince x 2 - whoopsied down to £1.46 each
Pork chops (pack of 6) - hardly any fat on them at all - whoopsied down to £3.00 - thats 50p per chop!
Small pack chopped carrots (for our bunnies) - whoopsied down to 40p
Bag of small potatoes - whoopsied down to 50p
Salad leaves - whoopsied down to 64p
500ml Flora proactive spread £3.26 after coupon

Did buy other stuff but wasnt reduced/couponed etc.

The pasta bake I have split into four portions and frozen, that combined with the 3 ww meals will be my evening meals for the next 2 weeks (I work nights).

While going through the veg produce noticed their parsnips which are 50p per bag were 'reduced' to 71p a bag :rotfl: Mentioned it to the sales assistants nearby who gasped in horror and took them all off to be re-reduced!! :rotfl:

And on top of all that, got another voucher from A's Price Guarantee for £2.18. Such a good day! :T

A tiny Tesco spend of 58p! Chocolate mouuses and orange squash! I can't manage without my squash... ;) I don't mind water, but I'd rather have a big glass of squash when I'm thirsty.
Because it's fun to have money!

Just eaten possibly the cheapest dinner I have ever made. About £1.60 for the four of us (DSs are only little though so little portions). We have Tesco value frozen breaded fish portions, value oven chips, value mushy peas (for me), value frozen peas (for OH), raw value carrots (for DSs). Followed by Value tinned rice pudding. Not exactly the most nutritious meal I have ever dished up but I am not well and it could have been worse.
Opinions on the vlaue products -
Fish - fine, slightly mushy texture. Not the best but perfectly adequate
Chips - fine, need more cooking time than the packet says.
Mushy peas - fine, a bit underseasoned for me
Forzen peas & fresh carrots - fine, we always buy these.
Tinned rice - ok a bit thinner than ambrosia but the kids like it and I buy it for them.

No grocery spends today! Doing well this week :D

OH will be a bit late back as he's visiting his brother, so we're having different things from the freezer for dinner - I'm having HM veggie tagine with couscous and he's having HM veggie chilli with baked potato that I made last night (they're small as they're just the biggest ones from the bag of normal white potatoes so made him two).

I've just totted up the grocery budget - so far £60 odd leaving £40 for the next 2 weeks. Starting to think I'll make it! Have written my list for this weeks shop and hoping to come in on budget at around £20.

    Need to stick to it!

I had to get some bits from Mr A today (that I forgot when I was at work last night!)

I didnt realise that Home Bargains online you can bulk buy things. I got some Cadbury stocking fillers (x8) for £12 (this works out cheaper than buying them singularly) so thats the nieces and nephews all done in one go! My 2 DDs would like a bike for christmas so not sure about the money stretching that far but will have a look around and see what sort of deals we can get.
thank you i did not know they had a site lol
