NSD for me yesterday. I need to get some bits when I finish work tonight but should all be under £10.
Ive been having lunch from the freezer all week (some things have been in there a while lol). Monday I had leftover chicken in soy sauce in a pitta bread and a YS aloo gobi pot (Indian spinach and potatoes), yesterday I had YS pumpkin falafal in a wrap and today I am having a YS minced beef hotpot thing with dumplings. (All the YS things were 20p each yay). Before I leave for work I will have a salad sandwich as I wont finish until 10pm and dont fancy eating then!
Thursday and Friday will be NSDs and maybe the weekend too depending on whether or not I need milk and/or bread (I might make some bread over the weekend instead).
DD1 had a party last night so she ate there and DH fed the other two at home and he text me to say do I want to get chips on the way home. I said no as it would have come out of the grocery budget plus we have a freezer full of stuff to eat tut tut DH but I am pleased I said no as it would have been easier but more costly in the long run as we might have run out of the budget before the month lol.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.

Still well under the €100 mark, despite spending more than I'd like this week. Have been so scatterbrained, keep having to go out for milk and lunch things as I always forget something even if I have a list. I blame college0

Was having a really good ns week but needed cat food, also spotted some ys bread which jumped into my trolley.
Having a real dilemma - got £5 off £40 spend for next 2 weeks but don't really need much. Is is sensible to use vouchers and stock up or am I falling into their evil consumer trap?Original mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.
Mortgage neutral achieved August 2020 - 7 years early!!!0 -
Two small spends today - £10 for chinese buffet when out with friend today, this covered the tip on my side as well. Also £1.25 spend in Waitrose on snacks for cinema.0

can you find things to stock up on at a good price, maybe look at their special offers and see whether its worth itI like to keep a good store cupboard, particularly with winter coming on, so I can always find something to stock up on
... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
