£18 spent today (milk, cheese, fruit etc). I'm going to smash this £200 budget I've set. I'm so shocked, I didn't realise we wasted so much money on food. I really need to get this in control :(

  • Popped into shop today to stock back up on nuts (am veggie, so get thro quite a lot of them). Did pick up a couple of things not on my list, but they were reduced so not beating myself up about it. Did forget washing up liquid though, so will have to venture back in tomorrow or the next day and try not to come out with a basket full then :o

Only a short month as I started late this time, hence the low budget, but at £12.96 / £100 so far. Good job I've got quite a bit in the cupboard and freezer cos it looks like that budget won't stretch very far at this rate

Student again now and trying to fight the debts that are creeping up again

I did the weekly shop today - I've updated sig. Managing to keep within budget, but I'll have to do a freezer shop soon. I'm hoping I can hold out until next week, but we're out of ice cream and lollies and I don't thing DH wants to wait that long! :o

    Congrats Lulabelle06 :j

    Few spends to report:

    £3.90 in Mr S
    50p in the corner shop
    99p in C0stcutter

    = £5.39

Made my own Chicken Bhuna tonight from scratch from spices in stock rather than buying another paste. Was very pleased with it and didn't take long to cook at all (very important for me when I finish work).

    Hope everyone is well.

Morning everyone, it was an NSD for me yesterday too. DH tried to persuade me to get an indian takeaway but I was v.good and reheated some we had in the freezer. It shows how this challenge changes your way of thinking though cos before I would have said yes straight away but instead I worried about going over my target!

    Have a good day all
