I did not say that a vigourous reply to a customer complaint suggests 'misdealings lurking below the surface'.
I said the following: that this pattern (and it quite patently is a pattern) of taking people's money and not sending out goods, including £146 in one woman's case, is probably indicative of other dodgy stuff that's going on.
Or perhaps losing £146 wouldn't bother you? Perhaps you'd be happy to give your credit card details to a non-secure site?
More fool you. I wouldn't be happy with either and I'm sure most people here would be pretty hacked off.
Now, do you understand that?
I'm not convinced that some of the allegations made against the company/individual in question are valid or indeed fair.
From your own estimates 39 people aren't happy, which is not many given that there are always a few screamers, and at least one of the examples of feedback is from someone who didn't even pay...
I've got no reason to defend this company other that deserve a fair go in relation to being accused of all manner of scams none of which seem to have happened. The money, Dave...0 -

Just to let other posters know, DB joined MSE yesterday and has been posting relentlessly in several threads and has wound quite a few people up.
I would advise people not to feed the troll. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings
