I really hope Mike the owner of the site is reading as he seems to know is I.T., so if needs his site to be padlocked why doesn't he try B&Q they have loads there.
Good luck Mike hope this helps.

Well, I felt a bit bored yesterday, so after reading this saga I emailed the company from their website, saying I had tried to buy something (which I hadn't) and was concerned to see the checkout page did not seem to be secure. I politely asked if they could guarantee that my card details would be safe were I to use their site. Here's the response I received:I have been watching your 2 visits to our website today and at no point
did
you even put anything in your basket. let alone proceed to the payment
page.
If you had done so you would see we only offer Paypal and there is no
where
for you to enter your card details so of course they are secure. I
suggest
you go back to the forum you read this false information on and set
them
straight. Also we are currently taking legal action against the person
who
started the thread and who has been spreading false statements about us
on
the internet so it might be better for you not to jump on the band
wagon as
you don't want to find yourself in trouble too.

Does that mean they're taking legal action against me???? I'm a bit scared now. I know I haven't done anything wrong but I could really do without the hassle right now, as I said I am recovering from major surgery and planning a wedding and any more stress could send me over the edge.0 -
I think they are just scaremongering tbh, I wouldnt worry!Come on baby, in our dreams we can live on misbehaviour.
I can see the carrot at the end of the tunnel0 -
I know I should probably walk away now I've got the result I wanted.
BUT something isn't right here - if they were just trying to run a beauty website, albeit badly, why are they so unbelievably threatening to everyone? It just doesn't make sense, something else is going on which is more sinister IMHO.
So I did a bit more googling of the names involved during my lunch hour.
I found out Louise's possible maiden name through this website: http://www.ringingworld.co.uk/pdf/rw4865.pdf
I found a forum which talks about some websites I had also linked to her married name a few days back but hadn't mentioned on here.
It makes for very scary reading. http://www.nannyjob.co.uk/messageboard/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=10640 -
They really should get their facts correct. There is NO electronic Police Dept. in the UK - horses mouth so to speak;) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

it's gibberish, all empty threats, i'm not sure what you've even done wrong legally so what could they be charging you with?
also i think you'd know... surely the [STRIKE]magical[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]cyber [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]pretend [/STRIKE]police would have informed you!
they've given you a refund, admitting they were at fault for not providing the products... you gave them some sensible tips to improve their site... thats it. you're fine. we'll all be witnesses in the cyber court._____________________________________________
