She started off attacking them saying she was disgusted with the service, she wished she hadn't bothered, unimpressed with the service and will be posting on another website to tell others.
She hadn't even given the company the chance to explain what had happened with the order before she attacked them and threatened to spread bad press about them.
SG !!!! off
I'll come back tomorrow and post a reply when I'm sober0 -
well she did admit that she went off on one complaining at first.
Plus i agree with the last mail in the sense of 'why the !!!! are you still mailing us complaining after we said we'd refund you'0 -

I do agree with you on this. I wouldn't buy from a site like that but I wouldn't have put all the effort into complaining.
If they offer a refund take it. Whats the point in telling them how to run their site. If they don't want to change they won't. I personally don't see the point in spending so much time complaining in a case where it's obvious you'd be banging your head aginst a brick wall.0 -

She hasn't had her refund yet though SG.
I've worked in shops etc on and off since I was 16, if I had EVER spoken to a customer the way these people have replied to the OP's emails I would have been out on my ear before I knew what had happened.
The OP had a valid complaint, and the reply was totally out of order IMO0 -
Hasn't anyone got an internet savvy son who could hack their supposedly secure site? I don't mean to do anything really nasty, but it did occur to me how funny it would be if a large pink message suddenly appeared on the site saying something like 'The site's owners claim that this is a secure site, but we have just left this message. If we can get on here, so can others. Leave your credit card details at your peril'!
Sorry, I know I'm being silly, but it does make me cross in this day and age, people claiming a site is secure when it isn't!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
She's posted on here before now plugging her own site.
Someone pointed out her now-banned eBay account and the awful negative feedback she received for fleecing buyers in order to 'start up her own website'.
I know someone *ahem* that's hacked websites less secure than this.
Will mention it to them later.

It was hardly any effort to file off 3 or 4 emails to her! It literally took me about 2-3 minutes to write each one, and they all took place within one day.
I don't know why I did labour it though, I wish I'd just walked away now, but I really did care at the time.
I care that she seemed mistaken about her site's security (I don't think she is running a DELIBERATELY non-secure website, I just don't think her website manager has explained it to her very well). And I cared for the other people who might have put their credit card details on there without due care.
I dunno, I can't help it - I'm one of those people who tries to help!
I didn't spend any more time on those emails than you have probably spent reading and responding to this thread. Even the investigation of the other websites - it was while I was in the middle of a massive shopping spree anyway! I'm recovering from major surgery at the moment and the only shopping i can do is over the internet (and I just got my annual bonus)
I know my 1st email was aggressive, it was bit out of character for me, but I did apologise later. And even so, I deal with the public and you should really be able to overlook someone being a bit rude to you if you are dealing with them as a customer.0 -
PS I am a bit worried that this could all get out of hand now - don't forget this woman knows where I live. As my OH has said, even if she got up to mischief like signing us up to junk mail it could cause us a lot of hassle.
Please don't start hacking their site or anything like that.
I've done all I can to prevent anyone losing their card details via that site, but at the end of the day !!!!!!!!!!!!'s customers are going to have to accept some responsibility if anything happens to them, as everyone knows to 'look out for the padlock' when online shopping.0 -
She does on some sites, janedoe99 seems to be her fave, oh and there's a Daniel Walden posting discount codes he just happened to find on some other sites too
Thanks Looby, or should i say Sherlock, nice detective work!
Now you've said that I've found her all over t'internet - check this out, it seems I am not the 1st person to have noticed this security issue. And it looks even scarier than I thought: http://www.weddingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=3119
(NB note the dates - that was over a month ago).0 -
OK this is getting quite scary now.
I first read about this offer on a different forum on March 10th.
But I found this on some random wedding forum: http://www.weddingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=24758&highlight=free+mascara#post24758
There have been some people before me who have identified this whole thing as a potential credit card scam (although that could be an over-reaction) AND have warned the site owners about their security. This is starting to look scarier the more I look into it. No wonder she was so rude to me!0
