I know I wanted this thread to end, but I'm really annoyed now as it looks like I have lost my money :(

I set up a 'resolution centre claim' with Paypal a couple of weeks ago. During that time I received no response from the Beauty !!!!!! rep.

I had an email from Paypal this morning saying the time period was nearly up - I had to close the case or escalate it to a claim from Paypal.

So I escalated it, by filling out a form. Within about 3 minutes what looked like an automated reply came back from Paypal saying they had rejected my claim.

Presumably because I ticked the wrong box or something somewhere.

I am sooooooooooo mad. There is no way that a real human being had looked at my claim, and now I am stuck. I can't even get Paypal to show me what I put on my escalation form. There is no comeback and I'm really fed up and I've only got £40 left in my account until I get paid, so I could have really used the extra money :(

try talking to your bank. Sometimes they can do chargebacks. It's worth a try.
  • Wow....you should be crying now! Its all gone pete tong
  • Yes you are right (ref post no111) she does buy her stock from Ebay!
Have been watching and reporting her on Ebay for months now. Always changing ID. Has been known as loopylou28, tenacious_downs, online_beauty_uk and so on!
Sometimes lasts for weeks other times only days. Use to only take NOCHEX for payment.
Has run loads of scams and basically uses 'stolen' money to fund her beauty site. Last November she was 'selling' Radley bags that didn't exist and took £100's.She leaves people really nasty feedback when they have problems paying through NOCHEX.
Her last ID was janedoe0707. You can check out her Ebay activity on https://www.goofbay.com. She became unregistered last Saturday.
She never pays her Ebay fees!
  • I just tried to "buy" something from the site. It took me to an unsecure web page asking for my credit card details. Looks like they've put it back up.
  • Maybe try this website and advice line or trading standards?

    Hi Feesh

Came across your thread by accident today. It sounds absolutely awful the whole experience. Just wanted to say I hope you are OK. Obviously this company not to be dealt with.

DD had a bad experience recently as a newbie to e-Bay. I made sure she had done a Paypal account before she bought anything. Two or three purchases down the line and no goods despatched, rather cheeky e-mails from seller. She complained to Paypal and e-Bay and fortunately had money credited. Seller had paid her £3.50 to try and stop her escalating the complaint. Fortunately DD stuck to her guns. She was a bit worried when we shelled out just over £200 for a new pram system for DGS3 but everything went according to plan.

I really do think it might be worth contacting Watchdog about this - I think it is the sort of thing they might like to get their teeth into.

    Best wishes

She is not accepting PAYPAL but sends an invoice to enable payment with credit or debit card!!!!
Wonder how many she will scam this time!
