    With this phone number : 05602 168748
  • And here's the one that has too many numbers:

With this phone number: 01747 05602168748

these are apparently broadband telephone numbers, if that means anything to anyone.

I was talking to a lady at work today and I needed to call her so asked for her telephone number and she said it was a weird one but correct and it started 0560****

strange how you can pick information up lol :T

Oh blimey this is all a bit more serious than I thought.

Sorry, I've only just come back to this thread after my last post.

I am a woman on a mission now - she cannot get away with this devious behaviour. I am so naive - I just don't GET why anyone would choose to make a career out of scamming people? I looked her up on Friends Reunited and she's all smug about how she has a lovely life with 2 cats and runs websites.

I will contact Watchdog when I get chance.

Also, a thread spontaeously popped up on the forum I found BP on originally and loads of people on there are coming out and saying they got scammed out of half their order.

I can see Louise's business plan now!

    Buy cheap knock-offs from eBay.
    Set up website for transactions.
Promote website through internet forums and word of mouth.
Sit back and wait for customers to come along and naively post their credit card details to me. Charge them for a lot more than the goods originally cost.
Send them half their order, pocket their cash.
Use aggression as a form of defence.

Can you post a link to this? I'm in the process of contacting all the people she's scammed/ripped off and saying we're writing to 'Watchdog' about her 'company'

Just reported them to Watchdog, along with details of this thread and everything else I have found out about them through you guys :)

Also, I just rang Paypal regarding my claim.

They said that when a seller only sends out half their order, they can't do anything about it (unless they are an Ebay seller - because Paypal is a prtner of Ebay, they have better access to the full details of Ebay transactions so have more powers to investigate).

For other website transactions, it is only when a seller fails to send out ANY of their order that Paypal can chase them for a refund.........are you seeing a pattern here based on what Beauty !!!!!!'s business plan seems to be?!

Most of the people who I heard about getting ripped off only got part of their order (notably the cheap stuff).

So by sending out SOME of it, they are protecting themselves from a Paypal investigation. Pretty clever huh????

I am so grateful I read this a few days ago as a new poster has just joined a parenting forum I used and for her first post is supposedly recommending a site where you can get a free Lancome mascara. I bet you can guess the rest. I have posted a warning on the site with a link to this thread

They've got 2 ways of scamming people from what I have now worked out:

    1. The customer pays by credit card. They may or may not get their order. However, their credit card details are now at risk (and could be harvested) because of the unsecured server.

    2. A customer pays by Paypal. The company sends them half their order (which protects them from any Paypal investigations) but pockets 100% of the payment.

So however you pay with BeautyP, you are going to lose.
