  • Here's the feedaback concerned:

'jammydodger is a very *dodgy dealer*,buyers beware, demands credit card details

Reply by jammydodger07: Simply requested payment via Nochex I personally do not require any details. NPB'

And here is the feedback that jammy left for the buyer (has a familiar ring about it, doesn't it?):

'No payment received, rude Ebayer, lied on feedback, reported to Ebay, AVOID!

Reply by captain-scarlet-1: paypal advised me not to give my credit card details, WHICH SELLER DEMANDED'

I've tried to contact the buyer to give them the link to this thread, but eBay isn't letting me get in touch with them (I think I've sent too many messages that haven't been about specific auction). If anyone else can do it I'd be very grateful. Here's the buyers page: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/captain-scarlet-1/
  • I have sent the buyer a message and will let you know the outcome.
  • Thanks for that.

You might be interested in some of her past incarnations, as emailed to me by a helpful eBayer. I've pasted links to interesting feedback pages underneath the aliases:

I'm particularly interested in contacting two of the following eBayers who have been ripped off by her:

    1 http://myworld.ebay.com/smudgefamily/
Here is what our 'friend' did to her: FRADULENT; STOLE £146, DO NOT USE! RUNS RADLEY SCAM EVERY FEW WEEKS - DISGUSTING

    2 http://myworld.ebay.com/princess_pinchie/
And here is what she says about our 'friend': TERRIBLE, STOLE MY MONEY, HAD TO CLAIM FROM PAYPAL, AVOID!

Follow-up by princess_pinchie: DIDN'T GET A FULL REFUND,USED MY MONEY TO START "COSMETICS" BUSINESS!

If someone could message them through eBay and point them in the direction of this thread, I'd be really grateful.
  • Something else you might find interesting...this takes a minute to load:

    http://www.goofbay.com/getSellerLists.html?ebaypg=1&seller=jammydodger07

So, if she's asking for credit card details, as captain scarlet seems to suggest, that's three pages worth of customers that have paid and given her their details. Scary no?

I am compiling a file on her, with an intent to taking it to the police, trading standards and/or Watchdog over the summer. They won't listen to the fact that I lost £13, but if I can prove that she has taken hundreds or even thousands off people unlawfully, they will look into it.

I've printed off every web page referred to in this thread, just in case she tries to cover her tracks as I'm sure she reads this thread.

I am also hearing from people off other forums who are sending me copies of all correspondence they have had with her.

What I need is for anyone who has had a bad experience, to please contact me via PM.

"Another thing coming" please can you drop me a line, as I think we might both be doing the same thing!
  • Don't worry, I haven't done any more than I've posted here (been kinda snowed under with my own work, it's coming into peak wedding season and my table is covered in Swarovski crystals and bits of wire!)
  • Oh, I just thought, somewhere else you could go to ask about stuff: The Citizen's Advice Bureau. They might know places you could get in touch with that would follow up your complaints, people to contact as well as the police.
  • Hi there,
Thankyou for your email, My experience with jammydodger was, i bid and won the item, i had overlooked her payment method which was credit card only, immediately i emailed her and apologised, that i had made a mistake and not noticed her payment method, no way did i refuse to pay, i am an excellent payer, read my feedback, i told her that i dont give my credit card details, only to paypal, and if she would accept paypal i would give her the payment straight away, she came back with this horrible attitude saying she did not accept paypal and her account had been hyjacked, and that it was not her fault and if i didnt pay with my credit card, she would report me, i got on to paypal and they advised me not to pay her that way, only by paypal, i said she was threatning to report me to ebay and give me back feedback, paypal said, isnt it better to have a bad feedback than be ripped off! by giving my credit card details. So i emailed her and said this and told her to do what she liked, but she aint getting my details. She reported me and i have a strike for non payment of ebay, i have emailed her to try and resolve this by offering other payment methods, she ignores me and that is rude, she say i am rude, no way! I have tried every payment method possible, even cash in a recorded envelope, and all she did was ignore me.
    Many thanks.
