There is no need to 'overnight' any deposits made this way IME. If you have an A&L overdraft of at least £250 use that to withdraw and immediately (same day) recredit at a PO. Do that two days running and that meets the £500 external funding rule.

HI Milarky - That's a really good idea for anyone with an overdraft and makes the whole using cash to fund the account thing a lot simpler! :D I always forget about the overdraft as I didn't take one with my account.

The Refer a Friend offer has gone down from £50 to £30 now for accounts opened from today until 30 May - let's see what happens after then.

Not another RAF form to download! This is getting complicated!

    Thanks.

However, it is worse than I thought. I note that it now applies to the Premier 21 account. Premier Direct and Premier account holders can still recommend each other, and can now recommend Premier 21 applicants. However, Premier 21 account holders can only recommend Premier 21 applicants.

On the new webpage, there is now a drop-down menu to select the relevant account - I wondered where the link to the form had gone at first!

Yeah they have made things a little more convoluted on that page - you just need to remember to click "find out more" and you'll get to the page with the pdf on it.

I've just seen your post about the Premier 21 RAF scheme and "who gets how much". All the links and forms on the website look OK.

The fact Premier/Premier Direct Account holders recommending someone for a Premier 21 get nothing is a bit strange but I guess they're expecting most people who recommend someone for that will be recommending a son, daughter, niece, nephew etc and therefore be quite happy for them to get the full £30.

I suppose so. I work as an poorly and pro-rata paid ICT technician in a secondary school, and it scuppers my plans for the market stall in the playground.
