The tests look promising. It's quite interesting how it compares to my iPad...0 -

Seems that thats an american S3 which is not the same spec as UK onebaby_frogmella wrote: »iPhone 5 Performance Benchmarks Detailed: It’s The Fastest Smartphone Available Today

I've seen a drop test attempt done in non-test environment where randomness and luck played the role and all provided by a guy who couldn't even drop the phones the same way not to mention the surface was uneven. It's available on YouTube. If he dropped 100 iPhones and 100 Galaxy S3 then such test will give some indication what the phones really are like as with the greater number the luck factor is less important. I'm waiting for some more professional tests before I give my opinion.0

True. The Map App is not as good as it should have been do not mean the iPhone 5 is bad when you can also use the other Map apps. The only issue I have is the Crap Map App! I hate the map part, but I have tried the sat nav part of it and have to say I am quite impressed.

I still remember when Google released the first version of Google Maps, it had so many errors, overtime most have been corrected.0 -

The good thing about them test is done in a real use not in some kind of check station. In real life you will never have them check station.0 -

They include both the international (same as UK spec) and US (4G LTE) versions of the S3 in their tests. Look closer

There were other tests results available earlier: http://hexus.net/mobile/news/apple/45293-iphone-5s-a6-processor-detailed-benchmarked/baby_frogmella wrote: »iPhone 5 Performance Benchmarks Detailed: It’s The Fastest Smartphone Available Today

However, for an ordinary user the difference between 1601 and 1560 or between 191726 and 172237 is pretty much negligible.0 -
Any point where iPhone 5 is better is negligible, coming from the Android fanboy. Would you have said the same if numbers were other way round? There were other tests results available earlier: http://hexus.net/mobile/news/apple/45293-iphone-5s-a6-processor-detailed-benchmarked/
