Apple must have known some people would have a problem using the new maps on ios so they came up with a solution. Just buy the black iphone and etch any essential maps you need on the back for quick access.

I cant believe how much airtime Apple and their products get especially on the BBC. We are talking of 100s of hours in total.
That must be worth 10s of £1000s of marketing.0 -
I can't believe the amount of apple fans on various forums discussing how dissatisfied they are with their beloved product.
It seems that there are a lot of very 'underwhelmed' owners. There appears to be a lot of people that have rushed in blindly to obtain the 'must have' toy, only to be sadly disappointed. Not only by the iOS6 update, but also the product scuffing incredibly easily.
It looks like Apple could have done themselves a lot more harm than good with this release, but only time will tell once the initial euphoria and hype dies down.
I'm getting the impression that people expected an awful lot more for their £529+ worth of hard earned cash.0 -

It's not just the apple fans though, it was the year's most anticipated handset and perhaps everyone was hoping something was in the bag that the rumours missed out, but as the advert says, the next big thing was already here

Not sure why you posted these test results since the iphone 5 wasn't out in May 2012. In any case the S3 results from May more or less correlate with Anandtech's recent tests of the S3 (int'l version) and the iphone 5 trounces it in just about every category.Forwandert wrote: »I wouldn't take any of these benchmarks as accurate, pretty much every phone tech site is running comparison benchmarks and the results are going in favor of both.

Anandtech & Gsmarena are two of the most highly respected hardware review websites. They are completely independent and are not in the payroll of any manufacturer. The likes of CNET, pcadvisor, techradar, engadget etc and every tabloid 'expert' know diddly squat compared to the folks at anandtech or gsmarena. Nevertheless gsmarena will be doing their own independent tests on the iphone 5 soon and in the meantime they have acknowledged Anandtech's test results:

How do you know it's a 2 year warranty?0 -
All UK-supplied Samsung S3s come with a 2 year warranty as standard. 2 year warranties seem to be the way ahead - along with HTC, Samsung also offer them as standard across the range. Heck, even my £65 Huawei G300 comes with a standard 2 year warranty. Which is only £5 more than buying that all important 2nd year warranty on the iPhone 5.0

"UK-supplied" is a too vague, if not incorrect, term. Some UK companies (e.g. pixmania, prepaymania) often sell so called 'grey import', i.e. the phones not intended for sale in UK and not covered by Samsung's UK 24-month warranty.MillicentBystander wrote: »All UK-supplied Samsung S3s come with a 2 year warranty as standard.
It's surely not the case with Asda.0
