If you are planning to or thinking of getting the new iPhone 5 the early reviews below might help to decide to get one or not.
The reviews are from the people who have already used the phone rather then making comment from the photo or spec sheet. Most reviews are from the UK based.

I'd wait until gsmarena give their verdict, those newspaper reviews are too shallow for me. They're too willing to swallow everything Apple tells them.0

Genuine question: why do most professional reviewers of the iphone 5 seem to just compare it with the outgoing model and not with what would be considered its 'natural' competitors?0

because theyre given backhandersWhat goes around-comes around0

The Torygraph is notorious for publishing a never ending stream of Apple PR releases disguised as editorial.0

Last time I checked., gushing wasn't a synonym of objective. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

If they don't give a good review then they would not receive any new device from Apple.
I wonder if Apple even have final say on the editing, it would not surprise me.0 -

Even on the company intranet there was the propoganda that it's good, no doubt it is good, but is it as good as hoped from a 4s?0

It's unlikely for all writers to be wrong, many well known in the trade.
Some readers might be anti-apple and never going to buy or use apple product and might just stick to the bad points only because it fits their way of thinking.
Most professional reviewers do the article based on the placement of the product in compare to others based on the price and specification without starting vs war. No professional writer would like to be known for pro or against certain product as this can reduce the readers.
Still it is always good to check the product before purchase to make sure it fits your requirements.0
