OS DAILY 4th APRIL

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for |Apr 4th. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well
.

Morning. All a bit late today. I have to get going soon to work. Dog kept me up all night, barking to go out. I think it's got a jippy stomach and needed the toilet all night.
I booked my flights to USA for Christmas, last night. I feel better now as I was afraid the deal would be full. I was in a bit of a panic as I was unsure I could get all the money together in time for Christmas, but that is several months away and, well it should come together.
E-bay is the key, but I have run out of things to sell. I need more stock....No idea where to get it at the moment.
Well better get going. Hope you all have a nice day.

I really didnt want to get up this morning, but only 1 more to go, and then i have just over a week off, i cant wait!!!!
Have speach therapy with DD this morning, and ive promised DS that his friend can come over, so will have to sort that out later. Also have a LO and a BO here, but the weather is looking nice, so they will be able to go outside - that always helps.
Nothing much else planned for today, a bit of cleaning, and then tonight a MS, and also a trip to Asda and Tescos for our months shop - im hoping Asda are still selling their ducks for £5 (they normally do) as we would like one for Easter (we are celebrating on Saturday as DS has a football tournement on Sunday, and then we have to go to my sisters as its her 40th birthday).

Right, onwards and upwards - have a lovely day eveyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good morning everyone! Where's the rest of you? DH has gone to w***, DD has slept at her bessie friend's for her birthday, and DS isn't allowed up until 8:37 (can you see that this timing was the result of stiff negotiation with a 12yo??:D ). He'd watch screens 24/7 given half a chance, so during holidays he can go to bed whenever he likes, but can't get up early. This encourages him to sleeeeeeeep and possibly read a book :T .

I'm about to start the ironing. DD's friend will be coming back here later. Her mum's going into hospital tomorrow very early, so she's sleeping here. I'll be cooking us all a free-range roast chicken later, with yorkshires, roasties and veg, and an apple pie. Got some half-price frozen raspberries yesterday, so will make them raspberry muffins and welsh cakes for breakfast.

The weather forecast looks fair, so we're planning getting the tents from the lost and out into North Yorkshire for the weekend. Will need to start packing later.

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Welcome back Amie x

Lovely bright day here, but got to go to work, so won't be able to enjoy any sunshine.

Couldn't get the computer to work yesterday, it turned out we had a problem with the line, but i couldn't believe how stressed I got  by not having access to the internet, sad I know.

Oh well, only a couple more days and then we get a week off, still I'm sure we will find some DIY to do.

Have a good day everyone x

Morning everyone :hello: and welcome back AMIE399 :j :j

I normally start work at 9am but am going in early today cos of heavy workload, so am currently sitting on my sofa multitasking (tea, toast, MSE, towel on head :rotfl:)

Tonight I'll finally get round to doing that coconut chicken recipe. Yep, I've remembered to get the chicken out of the freezer this time ;)

    Hope you are all well
    See you later

    Welcome back to Amie :kisses:

Yesterday when I went to see my friend I came out in the afternoon and my front tyre was flat, that was a new tyre in Jan  Got spare on at the moment, going to take it and see if they can see why it's flat this morning. Hope there's no real problem.

I am feeling rather confused today. We have seen a house which has come on the market which we really like from the details etc and they don't come up in the village very often. It's big upheaval, more money and can't decide if it's the right time or not. Know we should just go and see it and we might not even like it and then there will be no question.. But what if we fall in love with it? Anyway, it's a lucky position to be in to have the choice. Sorry to vent :o

Need to do washing, plant up hanging basket and some seeds (still not done :o) then am playing squash with an ex colleague at 3 o'clock. What a luxury :D

    Hope everyone has a good Wednesday x x x
